  This has never been the case for if one has studied the history of modern archaeology right up to the present then there is a strong case for the Land of Judah been devastated for 70 years thus confirming the bible and chronology based on those facts proves 807 BCE

  I see so your math says that 605 the starting year of the annexation over Judea to 537 BCE the end of the annexation is 70 years.
  

  605 - 70 = 535 BCE

  Ok if you wish to use that year then, that still leaves only 68 years not 70;

  To be fair some the problem with the WTS leaders is that didn't have the secular archaeological evidence to what is present now.

  ...and C Russell or either J Rutherford were not academically trained bible scholars
  

  They were not taking in all the relevant scriptures in hand and made a narrowed minded assumption that fitted their wanting doctrine of 1914.

  Cypress's decree to release the captive Israelites came down in 538, a year after he overthrew Babylon.
  

  So if you take the start of the annexation at 605 BCE and take 538 off that established year you derive at 67 years of annexation.

  So Daniel's dream (70 Years) was close but not at all accurate.

  How come we are the only people in the world who know the precise date for the Fall of Jerusalem?

  Thats the problem they dont, they have inadvertently taken the overthrow annexation by Nebuchadnezzar over Judea/Jerusalem in time and converted that to the final deconstruction date of Jerusalem.

  Its critical evaluation of the WTS/JWS doctrines like this is the reason why many active JWS are leaving the organization.
  

  Scholar doesn't realize it but he is actually is assisting in this feat by coming here to defend the core doctrines of the JWS such as 607.
  

  .....and that's why I participate myself in these debates.

  We should at least thank Scholar for participating.
  

  The WTS organization has a history of poor bible scholarship, interpreting scriptures to suit their own appealing wants, desires and perhaps needs is not true honest scholarship.

  Nevertheless the intent is to show all relevant information in a honest and truthful manner, something that's not there in the WTS's expressed doctrines or literature.

  Archeological findings have supported the bible's own writings and occurring events, so from both sources we can conclusively conclude that Jerusalem's destruction did not occur in 607 BCE .
  

  Why that came about by the WTS is because they wanted to create their own history which supported their own doctrines and to further their literature proliferation agenda. ( ie 1914 )
  

  That's why I call them apostate charlatans.

  Its partly about ignorance and partly about fear instilled cult mind control Beth .
  

  To go against the espoused information from the WTS is in kind by practicing JWS to go against Jehovah himself and he is about to judge who did and who didn't remained loyal to him via the WTS.
  

  Scholar is a perfect example of that as what can be seen from his posts and comments.

  people know of many cult leaders’ and their charismatic personalities, with their fringe beliefs and lust for power and how they have inspired hundreds to follow their unconventional philosophies — with often-tragic results.

  charles manson, david koresh, jim jones, bhagwan shree rajneesh and others have gained international notoriety for exposing the dark side of humanity.. however what about the cults that went main stream.

  i guess we could throw in jesus and even adolf hitler.
