Hi Rich,
those are very good pics. Please share more of them with us.
Are you not afraid of being caught by creating an avatar with a pic of yourself here? (I'm assuming you're still a JW on the facade...)
Listen, I don't want you to be booted from the Org before the right time, as it's always good to have someone from inside. So, you might want to change your avatar, unless you really don't care about getting the boot.
Nice pics!

Governing Body talk in Holland - GB decisions are Jehovah's decisions
by truthseeker init seems that few are aware of it, but the whole talk here is posted.. http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/viewtopic.php?t=2337&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=45.
seems like holland is having problems with jw authority.. thought i'd paste a few comments from the board before pasting the talk, so you can get an idea of what is happening.... --------------------------.
thanks for the update from holland.

I had a dutch brother over once and he related to us that the Dutch brothers often rebel against Society's orders. Example: when the Soc said there was to be no coffee being served at Assemblies (or something like that), the brothers took upon themselves to make the coffee themselves and serve whoever wanted it ANYWAY.
I giggled!

what's yo fantasy?!
by kittyeatzjdubs inso me and my boyfriend were discussing this last night and i wanted to get y'alls opinion.
when the org crumbles and falls how do you see it happening?
i like this idea: the fbi raids bethel, finds a bunch of illegal stuff (money laundering, list of known and active pedophiles, etc.

See at least one family member out of the Witness religion because he/she concluded it's an illusion.

"If WTS is so intent on recruiting new members then...
by rebel8 in...why are they also so intent on kicking people out?
you'd think they'd want to be more lax in order to keep their membership numbers up.
"--question asked by my non-jw husband.

This is really a good question.
To answer this question one has to understand what the mindset of these cultic groups is. Everytime there is a "disfellowshiping" there is a reinforcement of the feeling/doctrine of "we are God's chosen people. We are pure...".
This is so much so that I have come to know quife a few "disfellowshipped" people who praise the organization, claiming that they [the disfellowshipped] were wrong, but the org is clean and pure, and they hope to be able to get back at some point.
(I have run a website for almost 3 years now and know this by messages received).
So, those who are diehard become even more convinced of the organization and even more wiling to go out and recruit more of the type they can retain. When the recruit is not of that type, disfellowshiping happens... and the cycle restarts.
This is a very complex thing because it is a mix of religion/psychology/fear/delusion etc etc etc.

Living with Soundness of Mind in an Electronic Age - KM Part this week
by ezekiel3 inlooks like it is time to remind the flock that jwd is deathdealing.
this week service meetings are recycling old kingdom ministry articles regarding the danger of electronic communication such as the internet and email.. .
like i heard at a recent circuit assembly, "don't let your mouse turn you into a rat!".

"I lost all the way around. The son grew up and joined the Witness group and shunned me."
This is so revolting. I really feel for you.

1975 - Lest We Forget
by GetBusyLiving ini find the topic of the 1975 end of the world scenario facinating, especially since i never lived through it.
do you old schoolers ever feel concerned that people will one day forget about what really went down?
with whitewashed tripe like the 'proclaimers' book informing dubs that it was just the false expectations of over enthusiastic apostates, are you at all concerned that the legacy of bullshit that is 1975 will be a forgotten moment in history blamed on you instead where the blame really belongs?
