  i have had a quick look and found no references to this, so - here goes..as in the mag we picked up on sunday.. worldwide % increase over 2004 = 1.3%.

  memorial partakers 8524 (compared to 8570 in 2004).

  most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!

  Hello quango,

  welcome to the forum. It's really wonderful to have some of "Jehovah's people" exchanging viewpoints here.

  The classic example is a 50 something sister in my congregation - divorced. She is very zealous & very bright - university educated with a very demanding job.

  But, brother, you're not following the "Slave's" direction... you sound like praising the sister for having a university education. Didn't you know that having a university education is bad and goes against "God's purpose" for the "true christians"?

  Occasionally she can be quite critical & many of my colleagues regard her as a bit of a loose cannon.

  So, she can be "quite critical" even though she's in "Jehovah's perfect organization"?!!! Humnh.... I thought we were the "happiest people on earth".

  I fight her corner in my body of elders - for one thing , often her criticisms have justification and we can learn from that.

  Brother, why do you have to fight? Are you not going against "Jehovah's arrangements" there? Don't fight, my brother, Jehovah will take care of it; on Jehovah's due time.

  Also I can't believe you're saying we actually "can learn from that".... I thought we could just learn from Jehovah's directed "faithfull and discrete slave" class. If she's complaining, it must be Satan talking through her. Remember the example of Peter?

  Secondly , my wife goes home & can moan at me - this sister goes home to an empty house & has no-one.

  But wait a minute, brother. Don't we have an abundance of sisters and brothers and aren't those who brought us to the "troof" our spiritual fathers and mothers? Why is she alone in such a "worldwide christian brotherhood"?

  Let the beating continue until morale improves.

  The danger is that sisters like her can end up the "Blondies" of the future.

  Now we're talking!!!

  tonight we had a letter read "to all congregations in the united states".

  i will paraphrase.

  the graphics department has moved to walkill as from nov 30th 3005. this includes all artwork prepartion and other associated departments.

  there is a new blood letter from the society dated january 3, 2006. it is to be read to all congregations on january 30, 2006. it is six pages long and is to replace the directives on blood outlined in 1995. it was accompanied by a note that said that the old directives were to be destroyed.

  i tried to upload the pages but i just don't know how.

  i don't have any more time as i have to get to work.

  Yes, the US letter had already being posted. It SEEMS like the US is not getting a new card for 2006.

  i posted something a few days ago on friends regarding printing still being done in nyc.

  i have some new info and am putting it under scandals because it doesn't move so fast.. i have family members that just returned from a trip to nyc.

  they did the tours in brooklyn, walkill and patterson.

  I can't confirm the info above, but it is consistent with the article on the Dec 1, 2005 Watchtower.
  The article is titled "A proof of love, faith and obedience". Unfortunately, I don't have it in English.
  The article discuss the "dedication" of the new facilities in Wallkill, NY. In the middle of the article, there is this question: "But why was the factory moved from Brooklyn to Wallkill?". You won't believe the answer to that question: basically "simplification". Here's what it says (and I translate):
  "The main reason was to simplify the printing and expedition of the publications by centralizing operations in just one place".
  The other reason, they say, was that the 2 new printers were too big to install in Brooklyn. I don't buy it, though.
  It would be nice if someone who have the mags in English could put the scans up somewhere for folks here to analyse them.

  Now, write my words: if cases like that become more and more common in the US with outcome unfavorable to WT, watch out for all that "warm brotherly love" of the "true christians" soon disappear.
  Watch for WT sending instructions to the congs to make the "brothers" to sign papers where they indicate they are not "agents" of the WT. Watch!

  greetings.. i have started a project that i hope will stay online for times indefinate, even to times indefinate.

  you can find it at www.reexamine.org .. i started working on it in october and it is still a work in progress, however because of the shut down of the website located at http://quotes.watchtower.ca i felt that i should release the site in "as-is" condition, instead of waiting until it was completely finished.. currently, there isn't a lot of content in the 'wiki' section of the website.

  hopefully in the next few days and weeks that will change, however there are still programming issues that i have to work out before that can happen.

  the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).

  my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.

I am copying and pasting it here just to show that some leaders don't seem to understand that requiring and getting the obedience from their followers is one thing; it's not very hard. Now, obtaining respect and love from them is quite a different thing. That's what really counts.

  The above just shows how many enemies the WT has managed to make and how close by they live.
