  Drama: Not ONE word has failed! Regional Convention 2014

  looks like the borg spent all it's money on hd panels, gigabit internet connections and ipads cause this is by far the lamest and most stupid drama ever in the history of the org!.

  apart from the worse than porn-without-the-porn acting and dialogue, the special effects consist of square painted panels and a crappy blue screen.

  also the lighting looks like it was made using flashlights.. even the die hards we're laughing at it and mentioned how silly it looked.. i envy all of those that aren't attending this "historic 100-years-since-christ's-reign" convention.. .

  How do you reconcile the powerful deity (GOD) making an about face, OT and NT.

  he appear powerful, holy, punishing angry and jealous in the ot.. in the nt in form of jesus, he appears kind, loving, meek and.

  forgiving.. how do you reconcile the powerful dieity of the ot that ordered the.

  destruction of countless cities with the kneeling jesus who defended.

  NT god: genocide of the human race at Armageddon.

  Handing in '' Field Service Report '' even if you're very ill.

  my mom has not been to any meetings or participated in field service since august 2013. she cannot walk due to all her medical conditions.

  she is either in bed or sitting in a wheel chair.. our family hired a caretaker monday - friday to help her eat, take her to the bathroom and sit with her in case she needs anything.

  in the evenings and weekends, we have family members take care of her.

  Jehovah™ is a numbers god.

  Mercy? Love? Kindness to strangers? Compassion? Charitable acts? Since these things cannot be quantified they have no value in the WT Org.

  But a FS report of 15 minutes for the month from a dying JW barely able to function? Priceless.

  Break it down to percentages and you get how many JWs die each year, something like 128,000 JWs die each year

  Sounds about right. Globally I think the death rate is 1-2% on average. 2% of 7,5 million JWs is aprox. 150,000

  deisgns: You have to run some math figures on the death and birth rates for the 15,000,000 JWs. How many die per day.

  In truth, all JWs die a little bit each day. It ain't easy living with massive disappointment and dashed/unfulfilled hopes and dreams....

  * not sure what the 15,000,000 figure is about...there are aprox. 7,5 million JWs.

  im discussing things online with people and i keep forgetting that they havent' always had the gb and that there was a time that it was just a president or whatever.

  In 1981, the WT labelled anyone who thought the "faithful slave" was only the organizational leaders, the Governing Body, as an apostate, or opposer.

  32 years later, the WT now calls the former incorrect, 'apostate' thinking of opposers as "New Light", truth from Jehovah™.

  Now, any JW must ask the questions: If the view that the GB is the FDS is an apostate idea, why is the WT now teaching as official doctrine apostate ideas?

  If "apostates" clearly understood the "truth" back in 1981, that the FDS is indeed the GB, why did it take god's "sole channel of communication" 32 years to make the correction? It means god sat around and watched his Org teach error to millions of people....and he did nothing to correct it. Worse, if a JW didn't accept and promote the lie, they'd be excommunicated.

  Finally, why were those "opposers" disfellowshipped as apostates when, in fact, they were teaching truth (according to WT's current doctrine)?

  Has WT welcomed these "apostates" back into the fold, issued an official apology, and praised them for standing for truth all the years ago? No. They are still disfellowshipped as opposers of god, despite the fact that the WT now fully agrees with their view as being 100% correct.

  how the hell is this new teaching any different than the RCC view of the Pope???

  It's not.

  What it also means is, the GB, as "god's sole channel of communication on earth", didn't know it actually is the FDS for the first 133 years of its existence. Why didn't Jehovah™ tell them this in 1879? Why didn't he clear it up somewhere between 1879-2013?

  .

  Why should any JW trust the teachings of the GB, when the GB incorrectly identified itself for most if it's existence??
