  after all the atheist believes there is no god .so if that's the case then an atheist if a person of faith.

  OTWO: Science allows for wrong understandings. Just produce some actual proof and the atheist will look at it. If your God exists and you can prove it, then things will have to be reevaluated. Until then, there is no proof of your god.

  Science has systems built into it that actually seek to prove current understandings incorrect. If evidence presents itself which modifies or nullifies prior theory, then appropriate adjustments are made.

  In contrast, religion has systems in place that only support itself as being right, despite all evidence to the contrary.

  I think I can safely say that if there is a god and he presented himself to all humanity with irrefutable evidence, every atheist would then have a valid reason to change their mind.

  all things are made of the same materials etc so humans will always be fused with the universe in life and death because those building blocks are eternal.

  Well it depends who is teaching what because just like most subjects there are claims and counter claims

  Sounds just like Christianity or any other religion.

  What's your point?

  Somehow I think putting men on the moon, a space probe on Mars and creating nuclear power plants takes more than "guesswork".

  Believers pretend that because we don't know everything then we don't really know anything for sure.

  It never goes the other way, though. Even the answers a believer can't answer are a sure bet, something you can put full faith in.

  At least scientists are honest enough to say they don't know everything....
