Can they count time for these rehearsals?

It's all considered sacred service doing the "Lord's work" in these "momentous" Last Days. Of course they count the time! Anything to avoid actual witnessing.

what does this have to do with what jesus taught us to do.

i feel like i was campaigning for a politician.. next thing your going to see on the website is a donation button visible to all vistors without having to log in just bypass the middle man.

For 2015: JW women dancing around giant phallic symbols, "sacred poles". JW men will still be required to "Footloose" until they get new light.

Alpha Man: I have seen everthing now

Oh, I firmly believe we haven't seen anything yet. This is just the beginning of WT's secularization of itself.

Get ready for fund raising events like KH Bake Sales, garage sales, and Bingo Night. Some may view this statement as far-fetched, but all one has to do is look at what WT has historically condemned other religions for doing...then eventually ends up doing the very same thing.

the lds church (mormons) have pulled 274 missionaries out of the ebola affected areas of africa and sent them to other lands.. does the wt care enough about its sales reps to do the same ?

@ Blondie: The WTS is very money oriented and would not want to pay to move them elsewhere.

I see a new WT-sponsored donation fund coming quickly: The "Bring The Missionaries Home From Disease-Infected Regions" fund.

JWs will donate generously, WT will keep the excess.

There was a recent video (I don't remember the source- a JW or JW.Org) that showed what WT had JWs do for the Memorial in these areas: they still held the Memorial....but told the brothers to "wash their hands thoroughly", and they didn't pass the emblems*.

That's WT's 'solution' to dealing with a deadly disease! The show must go on.

* without the emblems, isn't it just another meeting? And, since it was just another meeting, considering the circumstances, coudln't it have been cancelled?

Now why can't a publisher use this same lame-assed excuse in a judicial committee to get out of apostasy charges, fornication, or any other "sin"?

WT is becoming more mainstream everyday. How long before they have church Kingdom Hall bake sales, garage sales and Wednesday Night Bingo to raise funds???
