  I totally understand what you are saying. I guess you just have this view of how your life will be when you grow up and something unexpected happens to change the whole thing. I wonder sometimes if the ELDERS have trouble sleeping at night for all the hell they put us all through, to stand up and be judge and jury and say for that one mistake for being human, you cannot ever have a loving open relationship with your family ever again. It really makes me want to hurt them, the way they have hurt us, and sometimes I think why in the hell would a normal person not see what they are doing to them? After all, at one time most all the rank and file JWS were worldy. And notice that the ones who are suckered in are (nine times out of ten) from a disfunctional family? Makes you wonder, why me? Why us? What meaning is there for us? Is God sending us a message? Is he telling us to yes, go and preach the REAL TRUTH? OR WHAT?

  I know what you mean by the grief process. I think I have come to terms with the whole thing. I just meant that I see other people with their families and sometimes I just feel left out of jealous that my family really no longer wants anything really to do with me or my children or husband. They blame my husband for my getting out of it, instead of seeing that it was my own personal choice. My children do not have a relationship with their grandparents and I do not have a bond with my family that are JWS and that is really what I meant. I focus all my love and attention on my children and husband and my spiritual family at church. I just miss what never will was and maybe never will be.

  Well, I have been totally ignorant to JWS new teachings and I know their is a lot of controversy concerning the molestation of children who were former members. I am not really sure what really started this, can someone enlighten me on the latest with all this? And also, what is this movie that JWS are showing at conventions and all? Anyone know what I am talking about?

  Hey, I was married at a very early age and well, he grew up as a Catholic and at one time I think he truly would have became a JW, but he came to his senses and I guess you could say that my wonderful husband help to open my eyes as well as a lot of prayer and patience. I feel like my relationship with my parents and other family members is almost like experiencing a death of the former person. It was really sad and still is, but at first I truly mourned the loss of my family and the beliefs that I am sure we all truly thought was right.

  In reply to your questions, yes I have read several books, booklets, watched the videos and such. My family are avid JWS and go to the meetings, field service all that stuff on a regualar basis, I was disfellowshipped when I was a teenager and I was still living with my family and in order to make life easier on myself, I chose to get re-instated after that I got married moved far away and still kept in touch with family. After I moved back to the same state there was some tension as to what I would do, I chose to tell my family how I felt and that what they were in and what they were doing was wrong, we have come to an unspoken agreement that if they speak to me or my children regarding their beliefs or try to persuade us to attend that it will only cause confrontation and ultimately the end of our relationship. So I attend a very loving and upbuilding church called the Vineyard, where in the true Lord-Jehovah-Jesus Christ is loving. I did have a lot of issues to deal with when I was younger and I think other people out there do too. I truly believe that JW are a cult (which we all know) and they border on demonic. Notice you really do not have problems with demons and things of this nature until you become an avid witness. Hope I did not bore you to death. I think what you are doing is wonderful, keep up the good work.
