However many years you have been a member here is quite irrelevant on this issue we are dealing with.

Who asked you to rake mud ? you are voluntarily contributing your 2 cents worth.

Any past incidents between yourself and Simon are also irrelevant here on this issue. You say you pull him up and call him out many times, I am sure he is glad of your expertise and experience.

Why pull him up publicly in the middle of this thread ? when has only done the right thing.

Do you think the truth we now know about Cedars and AAWA should of been buried and stayed buried ? if yes why so ?

Do you think people should not have a right to reply ?

Do you think we have a moral duty to band together and protect our brethren ? or should we just flip them the finger and turn our backs. throw them to the wolves so to speak.

Please don't take my discussion as any form of attack on you, or negativity. But discussion is discussion.

TRUST ...... CEDARS alone is responsible for his own carnage. YES HE IS. No matter which way you swing it or try to dress it up or try to protect him or make excuses for him. Just like Judas he betrayed his brethren. It is what it is.

If it wasn't for a few dedicated honest genuine people on this site - the truth would not of come out. Some of you here may not like truth, or hearing truth, but TOUGH. Truth is truth. Facts are facts.

Anyone else here notice that there were only a handful of people on in THIS COMMUNITY ( out of how many members ) who were willing to put themselves out there and had the backbone to stand up in all this and do battle to get to the truth.

In true christian jw style there are still people who will turn their backs and wallk away, choosing the easy option for themselves.

Just like when they were in 'the troof' and they watched criminal activities, deceite and fraud taking place against their fellow brethren, and they kept their mouths shut and turned their backs, more concerned and interested in saving their own skins, buying out time and feathering their own nests. Not willing to make any personal sacrifices.

I don't know Simon.

I don't know Cedars.

This is not Simon v Cedars, although Cedars clearly has done his very best to manipulate things for his own interests, which are evident now as the truth is coming out.

If you were asked to make a choice who to listen to, who to trust - who would trust with your personal safety. Hands down there would be no choosing for me personally.

Why - based on the facts and evidence presented from the get go in this particular instance, then the ensuing debacle that followed.

Keep it focused people and keep it on track. look at it objectively and deal with evidence and facts.

Simon - RESPECT.

There are a lot of very good people on this site and we are lucky to have it.

My heart goes out to all of you that have suffered, or been lied to, or duped. And labeled negatively in the wrong. Much in-house fighting was caused here, when there was no need for it. We all have to stand together, not get divided, we all have a duty to help others.

Now at least people are getting the truth. Rather than doing their heads in. because when something doesn't add up - it doesn't add up. there's always a reason.

Unfortunately, there has been a lot of people who have suffered awfully.

Fortunately - there are many good people still living in this world that can and are willing to freely give moral support and comfort to assist. I think many of us have either learned - or are still learning hard lessons in life. But we are also finding our way out of the darkness.

When a good terrier smells a rat - it will stay at it, until it gets that rat.

Which is worth more, a good terrier - or a rat.

Hopefully many of us here can work together in unity for the greater good of others.

We have witnessed how quickly the tide can turn.

The enemy is WT org. and ''it's DEMON MINIONS''.

well a picture says a thousand words!

i had a tattoo done today.. it was actually interesting because as i was chit chatting with the tattoo artist, she asked me if this tattoo symbolized anything....well actually it does i told her.. me: i was a jw and they are strongly against tattoos or anything that is really "normal" for people.. tattoo artist: i know all about jw, my ex-girlfriend's family was all jw, and i remember one time going over to her parents house and her grandma sat us both down and made us read some scriptures from her bible as to why we were going to hell.. me: actually you will due at armageddon, that is the jw thing.. tatt artist: oh right that is what her grandma said.

i forgot about that, you're right.. so then the rest of the conversation was just me telling her it's a cult and i told her never listen to any jw who comes knocking.. something else interesting that happened just before i came on here.

I know I am new, but I have learned how vital this site is. It is a brilliant forum. But know what I LOVE THE MOST.................... the honesty. THE TRUTH. Integrity, justice. Things that we are supposed to stand for people. Be able to have open free discussions on anything ( in balance ), also being able to get educated. The wealth of information and experienced NICE people here who understand and are always ready to help others. YOU SHOULD GET AN AWARD FOR IT - really. Because I think praise should get what praise is DUE. RESPECT is something that is EARNED. As is TRUST. You don't have to like someone, but you need to respect them. There's enough false in the world. If it wasn't for you this place wouldn't be here for us, I for one am grateful.

I for one disagree with Sab going off topic here and using it for a personal attack. Bit selfish - considering the seriousnsess of the issue of AAWA and associated problems. Especially when we are talking about people and LIVES OF LOVED ONES. Even if they are not loved one's they are still humans and we have a moral duty. So yes, I think untasteful.

Ty - not happy with you. You want to know why - You caused this S**T storm !!!! Yes - you did. ( not the original AAWA storm, they did that). The secondary storm - where things degenerated so bad Simon locked it. You waded in at the end of pages of days and days of discussions, when it had pretty much been put to bed, people had had their say and the dust was settling. YOU stirred it all up. Yes you did.

You don't believe me people - then go back to the beginning and read EVERYTHING, I think there were 3 diff threads at the time (not sure) related to it all.

I even told you you were stirring it up. 1 min you was ok. then the next you changed tune totally - I thought It was a different person talking. Then you said things to me I was not happy about - you know this, but the thread got CLOSED cos of the nastiness and I didn't get my chance to respond to you.

In reflection, I decided to just let it go.

IT IS ALL THERE IN WRITING. NO ONE FROM HERE STARTED OFF BEING NASTY TO AAWA - WE WERE NOT KNOCKING THE THEORY OR THE ETHOS. THAT WAS REPEATEDLY SAID. People didn't like the name, That was all. We are entitled to not like a name.

Controversial essay- cull 20% of the poor.

a controversial essay is part of aussie news today.. the essence of it is that the state needs to kill about 20% of the poorest in the community, to fix its financial problems.

it is, of course, claimed to be 'tongue-in-cheek,' but is there a sound basis to the concept?

i sound very right-wing in saying that, but i live opposite a boarding house that is full of people who, i guess, would be prime candidates for the cull.

Hi Ty - Yes you are correct there SOME, not all. Hoever, I think if you actually go and read all of the threads from the beginniing to the end, you will find that unfortunately things became quite heated AFTER certain incidents. have a read. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Of course this absolutely does not justify aggression, name calling or insults, but, if two people are having an argument, it's usually best not to wade into the middle of it without knowing all the facts or being present when it happens.
