  As I see it there are 2 choices:

  Reduce the number of H1's and L1's being issued and they jobs go overseas to India. Otherwise keep the visa quote open and let more Indians into the US.

  Either one sucks IMHO, but I don't see it ending anytime soon. It is very easy for large companies to set up offshore offices and employ "local" talent.

  Let Us Create A True Religion...

  the wts feels that they are the true religion because they place tons of literature based on their own interpretations and because they show true christian love for one another.

  this forum is testimony to the validity of their cause so i won't bother to repeat the obvious.

  but if a true religion were to exist, i belive it shoud be based on the following:

  Dad flew home this morning

  my dad has been over from canada for the past month and staying at our house.

  it's been so good seeing him even though he's not in the best of health (he's not supposed to fly .

  the kids have loved him being here and i was really choked after we said goodbye lastnight and our youngest, dylan, started crying saying he didn't want grandad to go home and insisting on sitting on my shoulders waving till the car was well out of sight.. they are both asking when they can go visit again.. i hate goodbyes and being separated from family by such a long distance.

  Who's To Blame For The Child Abuse Problem?

  is it the religion itself that gives these perverts the feeling that they are invincible and immune from punishment when they commit these acts?

  because it exceeds perhaps what you want to believe, does not make it false. It's to your credit that you don't believe such things are possible as it speaks to your own decency. But believe me, it happens. It happens all the time. And it's sickening.

  Actually no you are incorrect. I believ ALL things are possible. However, I have no reason to believe spectacular claims without evidence. My decency or lack thereof has nothing to do with it. I am just trying to be objective.

  From what I recall of the second hand stuff on the web Pat Garza not only claimed she was abused by Ted Jackass ( a proven fact) but she claimed there were Satanic Rituals also.

  What is a Satanic Ritual? What did she mean by that?

  I have no time for Ted or any of the other WT boys but until I see evidence or until it is proven in a court of law then I question it. That's how things work. Innocent until proven guilty - the same standard we demand for ourselves is the right of everyone. If Ted is proven guilty then put a bullet in his lousy skull and be done with him (I feel that way about all pedophiles...they don't get a second chance under the Donkey justice system since they have destroyed the life of a child).

  Sometimes, it just ain't any fun...

  i took my kids on a vacation to disney world...their dream vacation, actually, although it didn't turn out that way.

  midway through we get a call that their grandmother (the real one, who was never a dub and who hasn't ever turned her back on the kids or on me even thru my divorce from her son, unlike my own jw mother) is in serious condition at the hospital.

  we spent one of our 'vacation' days sitting in a hospital icu waiting room, timing our 15 minute visits so that we could see her, and throughout it all the kids were troopers.

  i knew of some jw's that were in such denial that they would want to believe that "they're just sleeping but are still alive to jehovah.

  " others would bust themselves "in the work", while others would "mourn as the nations do".

  Not Another Evolution Thread

  as i was musing in my shop yesterday gluing poly pipe together, (hmm wonder if the fumes got to me) i was thinking of those that still hold to a) the literalness of the biblical creation story and b) thinking that this obviates the theory of evolution.

  it crossed my mind that the human inmune system, by its very existence forces one to reconsider one or both positions.

  any thoughts?
