  Using Governing Body Member Jackson Testimony To The Royal Commission, For A Defense Before A Judicial Committee Meeting

  i think that a person that is called before a judicial committee can use a recording of the trial and force the elder to view it because of jackson's statement to the commission and get off.

  i think mr jackson has said enough about people who wish to leave the witnesses as not being harassed, hunted down, or spied upon and such to get the elder off your back and give them a "good witness".. also to be highlighted is the fact that jackson has stated under oath that the governing body is willing to reexamine doctrine and policy in order to conform to the law,.

  i think many statements by gb jackson to the commission can be used by some one clever and thus escape the label of apostate and be unhindered to a large extent of speaking to others.. .

  BW, while the idea in your OP makes sense, it is based on the presumption that Elders care about logic, justice and acting in ways in harmony with those precepts.

  Elders are just like the average JW (actually more so): they are indoctrinated, mind-controlled people that will do whatever the WT Leadership tell them to do.

  The fact that, over the last 65 years, not one out of 1,006 cases of known abusers in the organization in Australia was reported to the proper civil authorities proves that.

  The elders are tools. They just do what they are told. Thinking isn't something they are told to do.

  Let's just say that if YOU made a "mistake" along the lines that landed YOU in a JW Judicial Committee and YOU offered the kind of "apology" that the WTBTS leaders have made in the past, you would be disfellowshipped faster than you can say, "As A.   I watched Mr. Jackson last night with my super cult minded parents

  i have seen some ask on this site how the active jw's are handling what is happening in australia.

  here is my little experience from last night........ my parents were baptized in the late 30's as children and have never faltered in their determination to survive the great tribulation and live forever in paradise (even though they actively associate with all their df'ed kids).

  my father is still actively serving as an elder and my mother has always been by his side.

  straight after the commission ended today within minutes, the phone rang.

  it was one of the people who are working on it.

  firstly she established if i was alright and did i want to talk.. i said i was too tired and unhappy that geoffrey jackson managed to do some preaching....she said they were aware of that.

  in the style of stephen lett, i'm trying to come up with an exhaustive, enumerated list (without his crazy eyebrows, goofy facial expressions, and nutty voice).

  what watchtower has gotten wrong isn't just their 2 witness rule.

  it goes much deeper into other failures of jw dogma that has allowed this injustice and others to flourish in their organization.
