  Signature Quote - what do you think?

  i apologize for the self-serving nature of this post.. i first said this to a lovely person here to encourage her and add a bit of humour to a harsh situation, but i've fallen in love with my own words, ha, and would like to use a variation of what i said to her as my new signature quote.

  it's a bit long, and could become tiresome eventually, but do you forum members think that you might like (or could tolerate, heh) seeing this on my posts?.

  .... "may god, or the universe, or airborne spaghetti, or energies or wavelengths or frequencies, or quantum particles that somehow attract things to us, or telepathic manipulation by aliens -- bless you.

  MW, I love the sentiment, but it is a bit long.

  But personally, I'm not really much of a fan of signature quotes! So feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt

  i was feeling particularly hopeless about the whole jws being assholes thing and sick to death of pretending so ....

  i rang my sister and told her that i no longer believe jws have the truth and the phone went silent, when i asked her to say something she just said if that was the case then she would have to hang up on me and then proceeded to indeed hang up..

  Although it's not exactly what you said above, I've often said, "I'd rather be loved for WHO I am rather than WHAT I (pretend to) believe!"

  here tony explains that the decisions of the faithful slave are arrived at "collectively" but are not a "collection" of man made decisions.

  HB: There is a permanent disconnect here; the actual method in the transmitting of information from God to his agents on Earth is never satisfactorily or convincingly explained.

  They don't even TRY to explain it; they simply assert it. You don't need to UNDERSTAND it; you only need to BELIEVE it. And actually, you don't really need to BELIEVE it; you only need to OBEY it!

  I once wrote a song with a lyric referring to a dream I had. A "brother" once condescendingly said, "We don't have prophetic dreams you know!"

  I said, "What are you talking about? I have dreams every night!"
