  Building layoffs & JW calendar 2016 theme

  the theme of the jw calendar 2016 is building, building, building.

  all the calendar pictures are about building wts property with cheap labor witnesses.. and then, just before the year approaches the building has halted.. it seems a short term decision.

  Too Much Discontent in the Congregation Part 3

  now, 80-85 years later, we are still here.

  if i was to do the counsel with a brother who had this much experience, i would have just thanked him for doing the talk, and marked him good on the point.

  this is a good way to get money though.

  Liquidation sale of RBC assets

  got this very interesting email last night and i thought i'd share it.. this is from the local rbc.. "in harmony with our new ldc form we have been asked by the branch to liquidate all current assets of used tools and materials once owned by the rbc.

  you are invited to visit the equipment trailers to acquire items being liquidated by the rbc asset team, these items will be offered on a first come bases with voluntary donation.

  if you see any item you like please be in position to take it with you at that time, after you return to your congregation then you will make a donation of cash or check in the congregation contribution box designated for the support of the worldwide work.

  the org certainly agrees that the universe is infinitely large.

  MNIONC: I agree. But I don't think that they put angels in the same category as "aliens" or "little green men". You do bring up a good point.

  Yes of course you are correct, but that just reveals the inconsistency in their "theology" on this point.

  Why is the "Universal Sovereignty Issue" unchallenged by the rebellion of the demons, but could not withstand "little green men" or any other biological lifeforms?

  It's an internally incoherent and inconsistent "theology."

  Assuming for the sake of argument that they exist: angels and demons are extra-terrestrial beings.

  JWs have not really thought through their own belief system; if they do, they leave the religion because it is internally incoherent and contradictory.

  My guess is: fear.

  The GB don't mind bashing the RCC or similar because they know that those institutions will just ignore them, but they are understandably afraid of Muslim extremists.

  It's very much like animal rights' activists that throw paint on rich women in fur coats but not on bikers in leather jackets.

  
  

  I have come to conclude that, generally speaking, JWs are all a bunch of cowards. They talk tough and all that shit, but they don't back it up when it really counts.
