  music and art have been a big part of my life since i was a little boy, and although i was never able to play a decent guitar, i can paint.

  my art teacher from college said " i was the most imaginative and constructive pupil she had ever had.

  " i loved that comment, because in translation i realised it meant i had to work harder than other more naturally talented students, but the effort was always worth it.

  Absolutely.. from the day I was born music has been my second air. I'm deeply involved in several other creative arts at professional level but music is boss. A month ago I just bought this and am on it least 6 hours a day. Music is what keeps me sane and balanced and grounded and always has..

  Humility and non-cooperation with the arrogant is more powerful than a world war. Haven’t you heard of a man in India (named MK Gandhi) who brought to kneel the British Empire (that was ruling 2/3 of the earth at that time with iron rod) through his peaceful method called non-cooperation?

  War? Who said anything about war.. many here are just encouraging you to stop being a dishonest coward and stand up in the hall and say what you truly believe if indeed you even truly believe it. This is not war.. it's just being real.

  Now you presume to compare yourself Gandhi.. no he did not use war, but he certainly was not afraid to stand up and be counted.. Unlike yourself.

  The very phrase “stand up and be counted” conjures up the vision of someone bravely accepting a challenge by choosing to end his comfortable season of inaction and taking steps that will draw the notice of all within eyeshot. Other phrases in our language carry similar imagery (“Who will stand with me?” or “Are you with me?”). Usually there is a price to be paid for such bravery though its cost is perceived to be less than the cost of inaction and its attendant consequences.
  
  I found another interesting paragraph concerning standing up and being counted..
  
  When people attacked Jesus and accused Him falsely, He remained totally non defensive and said nothing because He had nothing to hide. On the other hand, when people misused the house of God and used people for their own ends, or tried to hide their hypocrisy behind a facade of religious piety, or loved their man–made legalistic rules more than they loved people, Jesus spoke out against them in no uncertain terms.
  
  The bottom line is our motive. Jesus always did what He did because He loved God and He loved people. He attacked evil and wrong head on because it was destructive to those whom God loves.
  
  Conclusion: Your cowardice lack of any true sincerity is blatantly obvious. You ignore the very scriptures you claim to believe and live by and even the example of Jesus himself and attempt to weasel your way into said Kingdom by cowardly artifice, craft and your own constructed scheming.

  Pretending to be anything that you are truly not involves all kinds of pretence, deception, being false and out and out lying on a daily basis. Well.. I don't know about any of you but to me any kind of lying defeats the entire object of everything.

  It has nothing to do with “avoiding discussion;” the fact is that there is nothing to discuss. Because...

  Of course because he's just looking for supporters of his preaching. Every single statement, comment, question or fact is simply ignored.. just as they do when knocking on doors.

  2) Second is who will inherit the Kingdom? There is no better quality than compassion (Mathew 9:13; 25:31-40) which everyone will agree to. For this too there is no discussion needed.

  Distracted: I'm wondering why this thread got rather contentious??? It doesn't make sense to me. I thought this group was open to people of various stages of awareness and positions.

  lsw1961 holds no power in anything... he is deluded in thinking he is part of some special 'enlightened rebellion class' prophet that have special and secret knowledge.

  I find it ironic and even cowardly that he comes on here preaching his own unique brand of 'secret truth' among apostates with endless illustrations of the JW Organisation being like a worm, or butterfly or car or whatever and communicating with his inner circle using a combination of telepathy and holy spirit and some kind of Tai Chi while all the while remaining neck deep in this very same organisation which it appears he wants to change covertly from the inside. New wine into old wineskins anyone? Then there is the sheer arrogance and lack of humility and lack of love he displays where several times he snubs his nose at those that do not have his special and unique brand of 'enlightenment'.
  

  If he is genuine and truly sincere why does he not do what Jesus would do and stand up in the kingdom hall and simply speak his mind about what he truly believes if he really believes it. Jesus turned over tables and whipped people in a similar situation. He did not sit in silence saying: "Hey I know something you don't fools".
  
  Instead he enjoys life in the kingdom hall with all it's benefits while busily cultivating his alter-ego persona in here with complete anonymity among devils.
  
  Instead of trying to save his lost and deceived brothers and sisters in his own congregation he actually scorns their ignorance but instead he comes here and spouts off to those that have already saved themselves from the clutches of the Borg.

  Isw1961 :
  Peace is our nature, hence we do not want to disturb the peace of the organisation, hence we stick to the org--supporting all its goods, and ignoring all its evils.

  It seems Isw1961 has miraculously exempt himself from the above quotes using his advanced Ninja training..

  There is also a rather massive assumption being slipped through here... Isw1981 is operating on the assumption and premise that the JW cult is actually God's true and chosen organisation and that it's simply lost it's way and become corrupted somehow and this newer purer more enlightened and specially blessed 'anointed class Mark 5' guided by the smug and newly branded truer than true spirit of righteous rebellion' is what will save the day.

  Some here it seems have even latched on to this hope Lsw1961 is promoting and are choosing to either be seduced.. or deciding to ignore the fact the the Org NEVER was, never has been and never will be chosen by God for anything. Since it's initiation it has been nothing more then a man made cult.
