i got turned on to the info on this site a few months ago, and i'd check it every now and then.
the last time i looked at it, about a week ago, a friend of the person that was the author and host of the site claimed the cia had surrounded his (the authors) house searching for him.
he wasn't there at the time, so i guess they didn't find him.
I guess Voxnyc has never heard of Echelon. If he had, he would have known that the goverment uses this to monitor all internet, phone, etc communications. It seeks out anything that will mention president assinations etc.
He should have known better. A conspiracist should be paranoid at all times. He just wasen't paranoid enough!
the australian daily telegragh on 17th jan has an artical on serena williams and goes on to say.
top speed serena williams clains she has no memory of swearing during her tight australian open first round match despite being fined $2500 for the offence yesterday.
williams was fined for an 'audible obscenity ' while she came back from a set downto overcome emilie loit, of france , on tuesday.
I guess the only thing I have with this article <although JW's have their problems just like every other religion> Is that JW headline. If she were an Catholic, Baptist, Coptic christian, Jewish, Presbyterian If wouldn't have been mentioned.
I think bringing in someones religion no matter what it is, is uncalled for because to me it would be a slight personal attack, Since religion has nothing to do with sports. Obviously the writer has some type of "issue"
1. it's a big surprise if they give you a direct answer.. 2. if you corner them they will resort to one of three things: 1) say the scripture is a bad translation (of course the verses they quote are always perfect translations); 2) they change the subject; 3) they start playing word games with you.. 3. many of them view traditions and other writings by famous jws as having more authority than the word of god.. 4. their doctrine completely conflicts with bible doctrine.. 5. the watchtower is their head (athough the bible says christ is the head of the church)
Sports are bad 4h?
That means the entire congregation I use to attend is bad bad bad. People would get togeather and play OMG football!, Vollyball!, Baseball! Tag! Dam Sinners
caught inbetween the wt doctrine and being "worldly", x 'hovahs live a strange life indeed.
sampling what the world has to offer, yet remaing loyal to wt doctrine is the dichotomy that is the loyal x 'hovah.. my friend, let's call him "gomer", is such a person.
undoubtedly bothered by this situation, gomer refuses to delve into the world of the truth about the "truth".
Maybe I'm a Gomer. Although I was only an unbaptized publisher. I mean I believe in a lotof Hova stuff and others I question or just don't give much credence at all. I've also noticed about myself is that out of all the religions philosophy wise I feel more comfortable with JW stuff in the context of the underlined.

I"m still pondering many of the issues that some of you brought up.
there have been a few threads on the subject of whether witnesses are a high control group or a cult.
some of the more overt methods of control have been mentioned, such as direct statements in the watchtower, the practice of disfellowshipping, the power elders have, and so on.
the results of these control techniques have also been mentioned; for example, many mention the intimidation, humiliation, fear, and powerlessness they felt either as a witness or while trying to leave.
Even though I was just an unbatized publisher, I find it interesting how KH are different from each other in practice.
For example, in my area it wasen't frowned upon or looked down for speaking or hanging out with non JW members of your family. Your family is your Family which most JW around here think.
Also you can be a stranger who attends a public talk and you can answer or ask a question. I've never seen that discouraged. Although the strangers in my experience has some idea or some previous contact in some manner with a JW that probably made them attend a meeting.
But......A Stranger can participate.
As far as subtle Control Methods, I find that persons on the edge, or zealots who were that way before they became a JW . Except they transfered that behaviour into the "work"
Ignorant, people who don't question, accept everything thats told to them, followers, weak minded Before they were JW's will continue to be so when they are. If they were in another religion before finding the "light" there were probably like that there.
Those who were always 50 questions <like myself> will continue to be fifty questions even as they dip into the JW life.

1. People taking part in their repsponsibility for THEIR evil Actions
2. Satan and his Cohorts are directing and engineering the show Directly
3. Some People are being used as puppets i.e. as he works through them.

I don't know. I read this book that a friend had for required reading in one of her classes. Its called
The illuminati 666 book2 intro by Roy Allan Anderson D.D. F.R.G.S. and I tell ya. With all the other topics about the illuminati it gets me to thinking. So much of it adds up. I don't know.. You guys read it and be the judge I would LOVE to hear your views or what you thought if you do read it. I apreciate this forum of thinkers, questioners,excellent researcher skills and analytical wit. Who better to ask a point of view?

I love conspiracy books anyway. My motto is grains of truth is always hidden in the open whether its in wacko theories, disbelievable rants or even mixed with lies.
Its an individuals jobs to seperate and find a continual theme that leads you closer to the semblance of truth.
