Why make fun of Ruby since what she says is true. It hit 50 people of whom 1 has died, and 50 is a lot of people. Also the consequences are noteable. That the authorities said it was not an act of bioterrorism is standard denial used for downplaying a situation. It may or may not be but what she said is true, can not and should not be brushed off as you tried.

beliefs. Groups are led by Jehovah's Christ and Spirit rather than a single human, and have the Bible for Teacher rather than magazine articles and imperfect humans. Some teach but do not compel the belief also held by many independent Baptists and others that resurrection for some will be on Earth returned to
paradise. Thus true Bible Study groups are forming, orginated by those wishing to do so without their having to ask any human. (2Ti 3:16) So far still more have joined other church groups including non-denoms or stayed associated with the WTS but greatly decreased donations and support to its heads. WTS heads misrepresent yearly growth among JWs which in reality is in decline.
What you are reading can and has saved lives. JWs are not allowed to freely read it when it's put in their hands but do when it is mailed/emailed to them. by Xander insince there are new people coming to this board on fairly regular basis with questions about the jw religion, i thought i'd pose this topic.. many, upon leaving the organization, don't really know where to turn for guidance.
"look to yourself" doesn't really cut it when you've been told how to think your whole life.. many choose atheism, which is fine.

The Elder just walked out my door...
by ezrabrooks ini was having my usual bible study on thursday, with an elder from our local kingdom hall.. we are about half way through the knowledge book.. when i brought up the u.n. scandal and the silent lambs thing he just walked right out my door.. i am left wondering if he will come next week or if i am disfellowshipped even before i am baptized?

You probably met some other JWs too, so now recall their names, compile a mailing list and quietly mail them those same questions which are floating all over the planet right now so that the elder can't be sure where mailings came from. This will teach them that the old walk out tactic backfires. Questions not answered become a greater fire. Same thing with Ted Jarasz gutlessly not answering Pat Garza's saying he molested her and others while a District Overseer in Los Angeles before he was put on the Gov Body.

and if so where did the information come from?.
i am getting my tree delivered this afternoon and am wondering if i should invest also in some very thick curtains and keep them closed for about a month .
