No, it's not much of a kingdom. A ruling elite, probably the princes, and with the power of the bible? And the rest of us slaves? Of course we will be, at least what's left after the destruction of 99%. Just read the Georgia Guidestones as to what is planned for us. And the beautiful pictures in the W of petting animals and eating platters of food-----that's just for the elite, not for you and me. They're preparing us, we've always been called "slaves".

And I think the reason they break up families is to control us because families have a lot of influence.

You're right, Crazyguy. He is bloodthirsty, has no patience, and doesn't hold court to hear both sides.

Free will may be removed, a lot of it already is removed. We are, were, very controlled. Especially women. Women had very few rights. And slavery was condoned and encouraged in old and new testament. If we get nice fruit platters, chances we had to slave all day to get it. And I'll bet there will be an elite class, there certainly was one in the bible. Nice fruit platters come with cultivation, pruning, tilling, weed pulling, you'll have plenty to do.

i don't understand why so many ex jws and faders think that the jws will continue to grow and thrive as a religion.

i still attend a meeting once a week and you can smell the death of the religion creeping up when you hear the talks, read the study wts and hear the letters from the gb.

the way the organization has changed is a sign that it reached its peak (in "healthy" membership) long ago.

Lambsbottom, why do you think that is? I think it's dying too. Yesteryear had interesting talks, the Watchtower and Awake were interesting and informative, and the Thursday night meetings had alot of assignments to look up and study. Then it got so flimsy and the rehashed information was so boring. I'm glad I'm out, and I really resent the 40 years I spent wasting my life dedicated to that false, closely controlled religion. My advice to any lurkers-don't give that religion one red cent, not one. They're a greedy, money hungry land-grabbing organization.

YHWH does too much killing-men, women, children. On and on and on. And Jesus was with him before he came to the earth so he is just like him, I think. I know he's portrayed as kind, humble, turn the other cheek guy, but all that propaganda was written to control the masses-us. Most people don't like Gods that are war-like. Since Christianity spread there have been so many wars. Especially in this last century. World War 1, World War2, gearing up for World War 3. And the sadistic murders that were pulled off are more like what Satan would do. Sand between my toes? Ha ha-well, there's always the beach.

I certainly understand! One of these days, I'm going to do some research on how women were treated in the Bible. Of course they were property of the male and were under their whim, so why would we not think that under Gods kingdom things would change. Just think. ETERNITY like that?

That will be hard to tend to the children and a garden like that, but touching his privates are more important than her hands. No apology accepted; no court case. Plunk, they're off.

But your Daddy will take care of you------------that is until he brings home a couple of georgeous hunks from town. Then if other townsfolk bang on his door stating they want sex with them, he'll the offer the girls to them-you. A virgin girl offered to a horde of sex-crazed lunatics.

Hasn't every, well, almost every kid when the hormones were raging, spouted off to their parents? I have. If I'd have lived back then with this desert Gods rule, my parents would have to have taken me out and stoned me to death. I suspect there weren't too many teenagers left. Again, no apology, no court case.

The Chinese Military

every year since i started my china studies program, i've noted western pollies asking for the chinese government to be more transparent in regard to the chinese military.. i'm not quite sure what 'being transparent' means, does it mean giving the west access to all military secrets?

during my recent visit to china i can't recall seeing one soldier.. but, due to the cica - asian security conference, held in shanghai while i was in china, there were lots of extra police on the streets, maybe because the russian president putin attended.

but the most exciting thing to happen was (apparently) the finalisation of negotiations on the supply of russian energy to china.
