Good for you, Peggy. This case is so, so sad. Just pathetic.

Want to hear something funny ?
by troubled mind inmy husband just won the city wide holiday light display for christmas i am so proud .
just a few short years ago i was the one that put a strand of white lights around the porch railing ,and a couple of lighted deer in the yard ....that brought the elders around real quick (after three years of silence ) at that time my husband was still holding onto the notion his faith was not bond to a cult .
it didn't take long after the 'loving sheparding call' for him to see things in another light.

It's lovely! Thanks for sharing with us and making us joyful too. Tal is right, everyone, do something happy for yourself, be a kid again, and make that happy, happy spot in your heart. Our ancestors have been around for thousands and thousands of years, and they are the ones that designed this holiday to pull us out of the doldrums of the winter season, they know what we need. So please enjoy-do something-make a fruit cake? P.S. It's not about the baby Jesus!

Oh, and I hope everyone has a wonderful, happy, joyful Christmas with lots of different types of food, and lots of home made booze, and music and kissing and hugging. And a happy new year too.

I would love to go to a Christmas Market by the Germans. I have heard that you haven't celebrated Christmas until you celebrate theirs. The food, the fun, the music, the gifts. Especially before the war it was fabulous. Europeans need holidays like this as winter is so long, despressing and tough. The cold, the cold. Of course the W doesn't want us to have anything to do with it because we might spend a penny on it and it wouldn't go to them. As for it being pagan----so what. The only time the Watchtower lies to us is only when they open their mouths.

Did you say the New World Translation says that burnt flesh is a "pleasing aroma"? Didn't it always? Anyway if you'll notice how many
"burnt" offerings there are in this last century. The firestorm of Burlin and Dresden is a perfect example of a demon god causing this. -

And the fact that your mother is so excited about the new things going on in the religion, and the new website and so forth just shows how uneducated the Witnesses are because they were not allowed to use a computer for years and years. They were not allowed to listen to politics or anything that might teach them something. Really, what right does the GB have to tell us what to do? Our forefathers fought for our freedoms, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, or lack thereof. Yet, they sure have the Witnesses under the control and they like it.
