What is it about the co's that if you had money , sniff sniff, and you became best friends..... seen it so many times.
Once a co, looked down on the money ones, mmmm, but he was more than happy to stay at the 'posh' house and partake from the table of the wealthy ones. double standards.
Another one, NW just said his name was **** head????? blast the name has gone.
But anyone remember Dennis Dutton??.... But one I did like was Alan Stokes, straight talking, a handshake to crush...but a nice man, saw right through the bent elders, but was still powerless to do anything??
John Andrews - liked the money ones.
Now all seem to work at the Bethel in UK.
Oh well the list goes on.

Whats the aftermath for you?
by Brummie inpeople who have never been jws seem to think we can simply walk away from it "get a life" and move on (as if we dont have a life or something).
i was wondering what consequences you peronally suffer for having been a jw?
depersonalisation, depression, keeping people at a distance, none...etc?.

Actually it is true... after leaving the JWs, I felt that I can trust no one. I have now only a couple of close friends, but I am very careful as to what I say, and I certainly do not take friends for granted.
I have been stabbed in the back so many times by 'fickle jw friends' that I am now very very wary of people. Though I do find that I speak up more for myself now, and I feel more sure of myself, and that if I want to speak out about something I will, where as before, I would not speak up in fear of upsetting someone (stumbling). I was the queen of tact.
So I am now in the process of finding myself and liking what I am finding. others may not like it, but so what who cares.

Do you Represent God or a Magazine Company ????????????????
by nightwarrior inthe question of whos faith , built the j.w organization ,as we know charles taz russell the founding member, whom started the organization,what did he beleive in,why was he considerd apostate ,what conections astrology of and pyramidology led him to use the pyramids as defining the dates jehovahs witnesess recognise as being evident in there calculations,did jesus use the stars to calculate any significant events pertaining to mans future, why was the founding farther terminated by the society, why were most of his written works suddenly deemed apostate,e.g the aid book ,used when i came into the truth or so called truth ,what is the difference between a magazine printing company and the modern day watchtower organization, one claims to work in gods name ,the other doesnot make any claims at all.. is your faith in jesus or the organization /???

Need Advice
by mattnoel inok i posted a few days back http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/49523/703299/post.ashx#703299 now i need some advice.. when i send my cheque to them for the info on me, bearing in mind they have ignored 7 pages of a letter i sent them raising a heck of a lot of issues of how my mother was treated, how i was treated, issues on cong members, data prot act, and a number of other things and all they could be bothered to send me is a letter saying i need to send them a cheque for 10 !.
what should my letter back to them say ?.
"well i am clearly right if you answer my letter" is a starter.. please could i have some suggestions !
