ME!!!!!
Just aske anyone at the Beverly Hill Cong.
i saw a fight break out on the platform between an elder and a unbelieving husband who accused the elder of f---ing his wife.
he then threw the lectern on the floor and pushed the elder.
it was cool.......
.
if you could party with one famous person for one night, who would you party with?.
i would pick bruce willis.
DAYYYAAMMMM! I'm so glad to be a Texan. There would be others, but, Matthew is a really Fine choice. Course, being of the older persuasion, fellow Texan Tommy Lee Jones ain't half bad either. Also, Sandra Bullock is/was moving Texas way. She could be fun.
Robyn, I've got a thing for Albert E. myself. Still trying to figure it out. Thank goodness, all his best thoughts didn't always contain numbers.
i've never been a jdub.
i came here looking for answers to why someone, who meant the world to me believed what he did.
i found the answers to that and i found an awesome group of folks.
Dear XW,
My hat's off to you. Not many people care about others enough to step out of their own shoes, into someone else's, in an attempt to view the world through that shoe owner's eyes. The courage to do so ain't easy. Often, the things that are viewed are more than just harsh; they can be unspeakable. You have the courage to take that walk, like so many.
Yes, we do care and will continue to do so the best we can; each in our own way. You care also, and have been a beacon of encouragement.
We are all in a different place. And I'TS ALL GOOD!
Thank you too, for being in this place.
for the past couple of weeks ive been at home whilst dealing with some personal issues and ive had my children in and out of the library wondering what daddy was reading all the time.
well jennie (a very precocious 9) loves looking at everyones avatars.
her favorite is brummies smiling kitty (she was very disappointed minimus stopped dancing).
Dear Miss Jennie,
Thank you so much for sharing your picture of Brummie. I call him "Sweet Kitty Face" or "Cute Kitty Face" myself.........hehehehe. It is a very good likenes of his kitty face.
He really is a very nice person that loves his family & many posters on this board very much. Also, Jennie, thank you and your dad for sharing the pictures of You & Bear and You & Puffy Bear. From what it sounds like to me, they are very special friends of your's. I'm happy they are your friends; love them & talk to them, and they will be friends for life. You are a very pretty young lady. I do hope I may meet you and Mr. Jackson someday soon.
Best regards,
Theresa
today is my daughters birthday.for the second time i'm giving her something for it.
i told her how special she was to me and gave her a crisp 100 dollar bill.
the look on her 11 year old face was priceless.
Yesterday,
I'm so happy for you and that you shared that moment with us.
I told her how special she was to me and gave her a crisp 100 dollar bill. The look on her 11 year old face was priceless
My honest opinion? It wasn't the $100 that gave you that special look; Man, you told her she was special. To us girls from our daddys, That's Priceless
gratitude first...thank you all for tolerating my rambling, self indulgent, and sometimes "know it all" posts.
you have all been gracious, caring, and wonderful support.
i have found some of you to be hilarious and warm... those who have come here for help, have cerainly stumbled into something wonderful.
Hey Kat, didn't bother me. Actually, I wanted to see more. However, I knew it was art from the start, & I really thought it was you're wife. [gawd, i need new glasses]. But I have to say I appreciate someone, anyone who considers the feelings others above their own promotion. I hope you stay around.
if htere were anything i ever wanted it was to be like all the other kids i saw in my life...free to accept gifts, love and unconditional reasoning from adults...even as an adult this is all i rarely ask for...where is your family when it would be nice to have them?
would something please just take me home?.
sincerely,.
Dear Travis,
You can count me in with everyone else. We can adopt each other. I just can't figure out if you would be my son or brother; possibly a beloved nephew? You accepted my request listen to my feelings because we knew the same people, including your parents. Well, the offer is most definitely reciprocal and I offer my ears & shoulders regardless.
Maybe I'm just whining, which I hate from other people...I'm just very frustrated and can't see the good from my peeps like I should.
Darlin', this is not whining. Only someone without love and empathy would think that it is. You hurt because of your personal attacks and you're in Parent Protection Mode. Two different pressures and frustrations So many, many people here love you & respect you very much, and can relate to your frustrations. We are all here for you while you sort it out in anyway we can. Call somebody. And let us know how it's going.
Please take care. Love & peace, Theresa
ok...i think it's long overdue, don't you agree?
our beloved on-line grandmother (adopted by some of us) deserves a little on-line appreciation.
mouthy: (grace) this thread will be one dedicated to you.
hey dude, i also miss our chats!
you, joy2bfree, lyineyes, and a lot, lot, lot of others really opened my heart this last summer and fall.. frankly, i've been struggling lately...life with katie is so good, but the life stories of all the new people that come to this board every day make me feel so sad, angry, hateful toward the wts...and counting my own blessings.
i'm in a bit of a spin; i've had to step back a bit and catch my breath.
Onacruse,
I think I may understand a little what you you mean. I'm not in any league to discuss doctrine. However I do empathize with the horrid stories of so, so many everyday folks of how they experienced this cult. It can be a little overwhelming (or at least for me right now). Each story is different and each pain unique. But each one is validated proof of the JW lie. I wish you and Katie the very best in all your endeavors.
May you always have love and peace, theresa
