Literature being discontinued, including Isaiah's Prophecy and Reasoning book
by Richard_I incongregations get an annual letter that tells what can be ordered for literature (it's mainly a list of audio cds/dvds for the deaf), but this time it included publications that will be discontinued, and this included the isaiah's prophecy book and the reasoning book, and i think i saw the draw close to jehovah book.
i meant to take a picture of the letter but forgot.
the branch is only going to give what they have on stock, when that stock depletes that's it, you won't be able to order those publications anymore.. this is in canada so i don't know if this is worldwide..

I'm with smiddy on this one. The org definitely wants to erase their history. I don't doubt that they will do away with the Watchtower CD ROM in the near future and just tell people, "it's all on jw.org now." This way, no one will know anything prior to 2000, because the Watchtower on the CD went back to 1950 and the Awake to 1970. -

This is an interesting tell. If there are wealthy congregations out there who have given there surpluses to the borg then that could simply mean that there are no more extra money to go around for the borg at all. And that would explain there money situation right now. They have milked everyone dry. So now they have put up there two prize-posessions for sale in New York to try to milk those for the $1 Billion.
But what do they with it after that will be really telling. But how long will it take to sell it and how broke will they be?

I have often wondered why they have mirrored other websites to go to their JW.Org site anyways. Like the ps8318 site. Maybe they were playing around with domain names for a while and the JW one just stuck? Maybe huh? Anyway, they are really in bed with the current JW.Org now anyway. But I wonder too just what they have up their sleeve or out there too. -

Well isn't that interesting. People are awake and they have been awake the whole time. The world has always been awake to this mess, but not the JW's. Here we see in this news article just how sickening they see it, and for what it really is.
Will the Royal Commission really put some laws in place that will really protect the children of the JW's? I hope so. I also hope it will force them the conform to a more acceptable and practical practice of what is really right in society. But I really have my doubts. Time will tell.

Beth Sarim - yes, calling back those special pioneers into the special pioneer ranks and paying them their stipulation and health insurance once again. I don't think WT will ever do that. But if they get their $1 Billion I think they will send NEW missionaries into the field though, but not recall. -

As regards to their selling their properties, to me, bottom line, with $1BILLION Dollars in their pocket, what will they do with it??????
Will they call back all those special pioneers? Now think about this for a minute. This is near and dear to their heart. This gets to the very core of who they really are. The preaching work. But will the All Mighty Dollar prove mightier than the GB is? Time will tell because if they don't call them back into the fields then we know.
Then we really know that the money, the MONEY is the real show, the MONEY is what's really going on and what has the last to say at New York.
If I was a betting man, I would have my money on the money.
