submissions published on best practice when responding to complaints of institutional child sexual abuse the royal commission has published 35 submissions received from a range of organisations and individuals in response to its consultation paper: best practice principles in responding to complaints of child sexual abuse in institutional contexts.

the commission received submissions from sector peak bodies, government agencies, survivor advocacy and support groups, religious institutions and other interested parties.

the consultation paper, which was released in march this year, sought input into which matters should be canvassed in a complaint handling policy and how those matters might be addressed, as well as the royal commission’s suggested best practice principles.

i still go to the meetings because of my in wife and it came about that the elders knew of my pissed off attitude about the society getting involved in the un.

so the elders said they could help me get over that and wanted to meet with me.

now just to let you know, i have only told my wife and her mom so far about it, that's it.

I never did find out who spoke to the elders about it. I think it was my mother in law though because the conversations sometimes with her got heated.

New blood cards came to our hall today

at the end of the meeting an elder, by way of announcements said there is a new blood document that he said would be passed out to every baptized member of the congregation by way of their service group overseer.

i knew this day was coming, just had no idea of when.

he said it was a simplified version and sure to make you sign up for suicide.

He said for all to get it signed as soon as possible and get a copy to your doctor, your power of attorney person and the, yep, congregation secretary. So, I'm sure this is coming to a congregation near you soon, that is if you still attend.

jws - had my meeting with the elders yesterday. My post is a ways up. They wouldn't look at a single piece of proof that I had. Told me not even to open my folder. So, so much for that.

But you know I got to thinking, now that a day has passed. Those two brothers were not interested in truth whatsoever. They were only interested that I reject and they reject immediately anything that was negative about the Society. That was their main aim. It wasn't to help poor old brother so and so. No, they had no words of comfort whatsoever. They had their guards up big time and they were in a total defensive mode the entire time.

They actually, I do believe could not care any less about evidence. One elder said, "And to me it doesn't matter" if they were involved in the UN or not. So whether the faithful slave is really faithful or not is not important to him. OK, ok then. So now I know where you stand.
