you don't know if you are going to win big or if you're just going to come out even or lose your $1 investment.. how do they know there's not going to be another market or housing crash the next day and get pennies for their properties?.

how can they honestly say: "...see where the market goes with it" and at the same time condone other for playing lottery tickets or gambling or leaving things to chance like not getting higher education.

One things for sure, it will be very interesting to see just what they do when the properties sell. This will tell their true motives. Will they do more cut backs, will they start to build more? Just what that is or isn't is what will be the true tell all. And it may not happen right away. They may not do anything after the 'big sale' for a few months. But sooner or later they will make a move. And they will have to do "something" with it because the rank and file are watching now and are aware because they themselves put it out there on JW tv.

Let me explain what I meant by Splaine doing his damage control and still managing to fail. He went there and and the parts during the video where you hear him speak, all you hear him say is 'don't listen to them. Don't believe what they say, it's all one-sided.' Ok, yeah, but then the report goes on to say that Splaine never then gives his side of the story. So he never addresses the issue, which is the whole fricken reason why all those brothers and sisters packed the assembly hall in the first place!

But hey, what are we to expect, this is the GB for crying out loud right? I guess if we wanted some smarts to come out of this we should have someone with a college degree go there.

i dressed up in a hoodie, double layer so that the cameras at the kingdom hall couldn't recognize me.

i looked in the mirror up and down so i knew that the cameras, at least at the angle that i knew couldn't see my face.

i took this disassociation letter, stuck it in the envelope, labeled it, "(congregation's name...boe" by hand and sealed it.

I have meditated in my mind of how I will react if ever the elder approach me on this. That is if ever they ask me some how, "was this letter written by you?"

I will rip up the paper and ask how dare you?! and push the elder literally in the chest. I know I may be a little bit delusioned a bit on this. But the madness of living with someone who is in, and the none stop of my wife going to the meetings and me to of going to most of them is getting the better of me. Sometimes I think I will loose it. I will blurt out that this isn't the truth and, "you are all a bunch of hypocrites!" I just feel it in my bones. I'm just that type of person. I don't know some times.

Don't you ever want to know the people on this forum better sometimes. You know, like be friends. I know that when I read the comments, I feel a real connection to many of you. WAY more closer than I do to the people at the Kingdom Hall, that's for sure. I just wish I could know some of you better...
