I met him when he was a CO back in the 80's. It was my very first meeting and I mentioned to him that I was interested in the Bible. He shook my hand and with his eyes bucked out real big said, Yeah, the Bible!! Don't remember much else, just his facial expression though, I thought wow!

I think the thing that kinda surprised me the most was they won't be printing any more yearbooks. We all thought the the org was in decline and those partaking would be really up there, especially this year. And I think we are all right. So the GB just said f*ck it! Fine, no more year books.
Just shows how non transparent they really are. Really this is great news for us in the vast apostate army.

Don't expect any more downsizing announcements at annual meetibg
by nowwhat? inexpect a day of fluff, more bells and whistles and boasting.
they are not going to throw shade on their glorious day.
but shortly thereafter when everyone's feeling good about themselves expect the hammer to come down during a morning worship broadcast..

IF the org is truly fat with money then:
$1 billion - $66 million equals $944 million left.
BUT, if the org is NOT truly fat with money... ha ha suckers!

"Give the Watchtower yet another black eye". I love that. Perhaps the victims will get something out of this, I hope they do.

According to the photo, 10 people woke up. That's great. If that's any indication about witnesses in general, then many are and will be waking up.

Let's talk about Blood again....
by stuckinarut2 ini know we have all talked about this topic before, but for some new ones on the forum, or to refresh ourselves, i wanted to start this thread.. the society likes to go on about the sacredness of blood, and how it should not be transfused etc.. they liken it to a symbol of life itself.
something that should be respected and therefore not transfused.. but, what is more important: real life, or a symbol of life?.
an illustration came to mind.. if we give a bunch of flowers to a loved one as a symbol of our love for them, are those flowers more important than the love itself?

I am completely convinced that if a WT article came out tomorrow saying, that it's now ok to accept blood transfusions if a person's conscience allows it, then 99% of all witnesses would do so. No doubt about it.
Same thing about blood fractions. While you were still in, how many DPA's did you come across that said NO to everything? I only know of one. And she was 80 years old at the time.

I remember like it was yesterday. My Dad pounding his fist on the kitchen table and gritting his teeth as he tells me to Get out! He kicked me out of his house. I had just moved out as a young 21 year old. As the door swung shut hard with a slam, I remember the smug feeling inside. I was "witnessing to him" and he didn't like it. I was trying to slam the "truth" down his throat. I smirked, literally as I walked out of the garage toward the street where my car was. I thought that this was persecution. Surely I had nailed it on the head now. I am being persecuted I thought. But now, 30 years later, awake to TTATT, I realize that I just been breaking up my family. And I was the cause of it all. It's too late now. Way too late. My Dad's dead now. I can't reconcile that.So what's my message behind this post? If I could only tell everyone who is truly in deep with this religion, to watch out what you do. You may end up terminating the very family you love, all for persecution's sake. All for a bunch of, now out-of-date Watchtowers.Don't do it I cry out to all who may be aware of the danger. But hey, who am I? I am just a poster on this sub. And pretty much everyone on here already knows the truth about the truth. So, why am I even saying this? I guess because it's cathardic maybe. At any rate, just maybe some of you know the pain too. My best to you.
