  i'm sure many of you will be familiar with danmera's brilliant and thought-provoking youtube videos.. for those who don't already know her story, this article should fill you in on the struggle she went through as a young woman thanks to her jw upbringing.. the fact that she has emerged through all of that, and blossomed into such a valuable member of our community, is truly inspiring.. .

  I find it difficult to comprehend that she was treated so badly just because she wasn't baptized at age 14.

  In my 60 year association with J W's I never even heard of such a thing.

  My Mother Passed

  thank you for all of your support durning the two difficult weeks my mother was on her death bed.

  last night at 10:30pm she breath her last with my sister and i by her side.

  this is a real end of an era for me as i have known little these past 8 years other than taking care of my parents.

  I am sorry for your pain. It is a pain isn't it? I felt it acutely when I lost my mother.

  What is so precious is that you were able to ease your mom's pain at the end.

  the fact is that so many indians exist in a poverty so deep that it's difficult for westerners to even understand.

  the youngest of the rapists in the now world known rape story, according to this uk, independent newspaper story, grew up in that world that seems hopeless.
