Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word For The WTBTS To Say!
Because they are not!
sorry to raymond and cynthia franz for expelling them on trumped-up charges and forcing them from there bethel home.. sorry for demonizing many of raymond's accomplishmets, such as 'the aid to bible understanding' (the blue book) that he had a hand in putting together and that too many old timers remember who grew fond of reading to expand their bible knowledge.. sorry to oompa for disfellowshipping him and causing him to be shunned to the point where he couldn't take it any longer and wound up taking his own life.

despite everything, i still have a lingering admiration toward those who serve or have served in bethel.
it is not that i believe it is gods organization in any way, shape, or form.
T heir ignorance due to the BITE model should heighten our empathy toward them.
Well said Londo111
well, i have been studying jws religion ,my cousin is a jw and i have visited him a lot of times.i have watched his way of living and things like that.i have been at the district convention last week.i read so many things from both sides.i came to the conclusion that if someone believes god exists then it is so easy and he should be a jehovah's witness.sadly its true and that is why so many people are and every year they baptised even more.. stories about jws reducing?wrong.. facing problems?
false.. everybody in the convention had an ipad ,iphones etc with the bible in it.
+ wifi .
I think we need to take into account the obvious fact that English is not spirituk's first language.
i remember when i was a "devout" jws i could not wait to get the new watchtowers and awakes from the wednesday nite theocratic ministry school.
i would actually salivate thinking of the new information jehovah had in the magazines for us.
i was "franatical" and i would go home still in my three piece suit and devour the magazines that very nite.
The closest thing Blondie has to an addiction is a constant urge to help others.
Ah! That more of us had such an addiction.
how is he different to a normal elder?
is he ranked higher than a normal elder?
what does he actually do?.
I believe that particular position and title has now been abandoned.
when you were a believer did you give large donations to the society?
if so how much did you give?
i know an elder who's a chiropractor and he generously gives $400-800 a month to the society.
Sadly, we donated thousands of dollars and many years of our lives in the so called "full time" work.
its bad enough when the governing body rewrites the organizations past history.
but last october they also began rewriting the organizations future history relative to the appointment over all of jesus belongings mentioned in matthew 24:47.. for many decades they had insisted that jesus made that appointment back in 1919 because the society had been so faithful and discreet about what they had been teaching down till 1919. .
but as shown in captives of a concept they had not been either faithful or discreet about what they had been providing in the way of spiritual food down till 1919. therefore under that scenario there was no possible way the society could have passed a food-at-the-proper-time examination at that time.
Good one. Thanks Don.

Thanks Cedars.
commission is still calling for more victims to come forward.. .
the commission has in place a program to minimise the risk of ''vicarious trauma'' for its 74 staff that includes six commissioners led by justice peter mclellan.. vicarious trauma is a name for the psychological impact people may experience through first-hand exposure to survivor's accounts of trauma.
research suggests symptoms are similar to those of direct trauma exposure including social withdrawal, anger, physical illnesses and sleeplessness.
Seems like the Aussie government is serious about this. The clip says:
" The federal budget set aside $434 million for the commission."
looks like the awaa people are here to stay.
i sense they have withered the rentless criticism and now have been refined for the long haul.
they have been washed in the previous blood of jesus christ and declared fit to the fine fight.
It's sad Terry but you're spot on.
