  Kingdom Servie Yearly Notice to Register with Selective Service

  the june, 2006 issue of "our kingdom service" is available for download at reexamine.org.. this issue contains the yearly reminder for young men to register with the selective service.. here is the exact announcement.. from: our kingdom ministry, june 2006, page 3. u.s. selective service regulations require that all men register at the post office within 30 days after reaching 18 years of age.

  a male noncitizen under the age of 26 who takes up residency in the united states must also register with selective service within 30 days of becoming a resident.

  all of those required to do so should comply with this law, viewing it as a christian's obligation to the superior authorities.

  The reason WT makes the announcement in the KM encouraging all young JW men of age to register with the Selective Service System goes back to 1918 when J.F. Rutherford and seven other WT leaders were indicted and taken in custody on federal charges of conspiring to violate the Espionage Act of June 15, 1917. The allegations behind the federal charges were that the WT leaders were conspiring to obstruct the recruiting and enlisting of men in in the U.S. Armed Forces during a time of war. The WT leaders were convicted and each sentenced to about 80 years imprisonment. They appealed and the U.S. Court of Appeals in New York later ruled that the WT leaders did not receive an "impartial trial" and a new trial was ordered which never happened. The WT portrays this as evidence that the WT leaders were not guilty, but the U.S. attorney for the case, L.W. Ross, officially stated in writing that he did not want to pursue the new trial because of the possiblity of it causing the U.S. government negative relations with the general public, not because any of lack of evidence. All of this can be read in documents recorded with the U.S. National Archives.

  Ever since those federal indictments and convictions, WT leaders to this day are very careful to cover their ass when it comes to their published view of registering with the U.S. Selective Service System. The WT encourages young men to register, but if those same young men are imprisoned for refusal of duty in the armed forces, the WT will imply the young men made that decision to refuse duty based on their own conscience not because the WT directly instructed them to refuse, which could bring another federal indictment upon the WT, especially with the news laws in a time of war or terrorism.

  When I first read this it sounded like something the WT would have published. The Lord's Witnesses are a group that seeks to attract dissident JWs. The LW's are not all that different from JWs with a few exceptions. The LWs have an informative web site.

  life might suck, but life moves on.. mom's grip is weakening, prob.

  Judah Ben Schroeder (Albert's son) will soon graduate Law School

  judah shroeder was listed as deputy director of public affairs as of 2000 and was heavily involved in helping the organization defend itself .

  Judah-Ben Schroeder? What were they thinking when they named him Judah Ben? Did they think he would become the WT Messiah?

  Judah-Ben's father, JW Governing Body member Albert Schroeder, was obsessed with prophets and prophecy. He wrote the bulk of the Revelation Climax book. Why didn't he just name his son Albert Jr? It had to be a lofty Hebrew Bible name. They must have had big plans for Judah-Ben.

  Raising a child at Bethel is not truly raising a child. Everything, including a college education, is included at no charge for the children of the WT elite. And to think we paid for it with our donations.

  All other Bethelite couples that get pregnant are dismissed from Bethel to go struggle to raise their child in the real world. Missionaries, circuit and district overseers will also get laid off it their wives get pregnant. What will happen if Judah Ben has a child?

  I hope the WT made the privileged Judah Ben sign a life long contract.

  i rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.

  a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.

  late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

  i plan on continuing the good christian with a few questions act.

  after they reach their decision whatever it is i will pull out my camera and tell them that this whole procedure has been recorded.. 1. do you think i will get df'ed tonight?

  SoL, you ARE disfellowshiped. Only the announcement is being held in abeyance by the appeal committee. If the appeal committee does not agree with the original committee's decision to disfellowship you tonight, the appeal committee may schedule yet another meeting to keep trying to intimidate you into admitting to something concrete. This will be your third meeting with appeal committee. The appeal committee is deliberately dragging this out to call your bluff. Appeal committees are trained to do this. There is a chance that the discipline may be reduced to public reproof. But since you have been disfellowshiped once before, I doubt it.
