Personality of "Anointed" JWs

did you notice any similarities in the personalities of "anointed" jws?.

did they use their anointed status for personal advantage?.

were they the most loving person you ever met?.

I'm not so sure that "pre 1935" anointed JWs were dissimliar to JWs that profess to be of the anointed today.
The more you read about the private lives of Russell, Rutherford, F. Franz, the leading anointed ones of the time,
the more you will realize that there was something very peculiar about them as people and not in a healthy way.
Whether some anointed JWs try to imitate the higher up anointed JWs or if they just are not right in the head to
start with, the WT publications have bragged for years on how different and special the "anointed remnant" is
by their conduct and views. The WT bred the anointed to think that way and they still do.

The anointed remnant have been pressing on in the battle of truth against lies for many years now, but, though aging and nearing exhaustion, they do not give in to weariness of the flesh but keep up the chase of the enemy, “faint, yet pursuing them.” Frequently they could use such assistance as that symbolized by “bread” or “a cup of cold water”. How like the “goat” and “evil servant” classes of today, who refuse aid to the anointed remnant, unable to see that behind these brethren of the Lord are Christ and Jehovah, and are still fearful of the world leaders, consorting with them and viewing them as the “higher powers”! Such goatish ones think that this world organization under Satan is all right, think that it will continue on as the controlling power, and they cast their lot with it. Hence in both type and antitype it is seen that the rout and running battle divided the peoples, some coming out and joining in the fight against satanic oppressors, others siding with the doomed invaders of Jehovah’s field of worship.—Matt. 25:31, 32.

The holy war against evil invaders? Fighting the invisible demonic enemy and those doomed apostates!

the other day ,it was mentioned how rutherland supposedly swindled 5 sisters out of their shares etc to gain control of wt.. do you think there will be further shocking revelations about wt or have everything been covered?.

If enough evidence can be gathered to convict a certain G.B. member of rape before he dies might deal a hard blow to the WT.

Even that might not be enough. The G.B. Greenlees homosexual scandal did not damage the WT at all.

If any more Ray Franz like memos from other high up WT officials expressing their doubt or disbelief in JW doctrine would be a good find.

From most of the experiences here, anointed JWs do not seem to have a very good reputation.
Considering that there are only a few thousand of them and the overall experience with them
has been negative, sounds like they need some good Public Relations help.

A wise man of the past wrote: "Man has dominated man to his injury." (Ecclesiastes 8:9) His words are true whether those dominating are individuals or classes. When one group of people elevates itself over another, misery and suffering inevitably result.

Faithful and discreet slave CLASS? CLASS of anointed Christians? Elevates itself over the CLASS of other sheep. With all the misery and personal suffering within WT organization talked about here, by the JW's own doctrine, the anointed must be held responsible.

here is video with j. r. brown, organizational spokesman for jehovah's witnesses and philip brumley, general counsel (lawyer) for jehovah's witnesses on the matter of how child abuse is treated with the congregations.. notice how j.r. brown says that the wt has taken "inititives" against child abuse over the past "10-15 years" and then later states that child "has become a burning issue in the last 20 or 30 years.

" that leaves over a decade that the wt took no "initiatives" on the "burning issue" of child abuse.. other j.r. brown statements:.

"crime is crime.".

September KM - 70 alterations in Revelation Climax Book

i can't find a thread on this subject yet - if there is one , please delete this one.. the september kingdom ministry has a 4 page insert detailing the 70 alterations in the revelation climax book which is due to be studied at the book study shortly.

i'll provide scans if anyone is interested.. i will leave it up to more experienced analysts to examine the reasons for specific changes , but just a few brief observations for now:.

p32 box - "they were completely exonerated" changed to "charges against them were dropped" - interesting change of terminology for the 1918 watchtower eight.

I'm guessing that this new and improved Revelation book info is the "big announcement"
If it is in the September KM, then it will have an entire Service Meeting part dedicated
to discussing the changes in the book and possibly a letter from the Society to be read.
Not exactly a big announcement.
