Rewatching that video is triggering

20/20 hindsight.

The old batch of GB in that video are all dead now, but trauma caused by the indoctrinations & policies administrated by those old men continues to haunt so many of us here in this forum today; and the new batch of wacky GB charlatans today add insult to the injury.

Forwarded that video to some PIMI... they loved it. I mentioned how all those old GB were part of the "generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur"... but they were unphased. PIMI cannot (or will not) grasp the fallacy of it, yet. Maybe after another decade of new light & dashed hopes.

Thanks to Grandpa and Brother F for digging out that archive.

Simply attending a meeting inside Kingdom Hall would be a potential exposure, leading to a mandatory self-isolation from the upcoming meetings for 10 days.

Their new light for in-person meetings seems to inhibit the very idea of in-person meetings.

Even if not exposed to a virus while at the meeting, still have to sit there wearing a mask for two hours, and try to sing the songs while wearing the mask.

Truly, that governing body must be receiving all these ideas directly from invisible Jesus. No?

According to the new guidelines for Kingdom Hall meetings, any potential cold or flu symptoms disqualify people from attending JW meetings at a Kingdom Hall.

as some of you might recall, i self-published a novel last fall.

i hoped “armageddon’s disciples” would be successful as my previous works (an alternate history trilogy) had done well.

not so with “disciples.” i’ve sold a total of nine copies.

Very true. Good on you for staying true to yourself and planning ahead for your future needs "in this old system"

If a JW decides to continue PIMO, they would be wise to imitate your strategy in order to limit future setbacks.

But long-term living PIMO "sucks".

Better quality of life in being true to yourself, and devising a safe exit strategy toward POMO freedom.

The senseless ''non partakers'' Jesus Memorial

18 he said: “go into the city to so-and-so and say to him, ‘the teacher says: “my appointed time is near; i will celebrate the passover with my disciples at your home.19 so the disciples did as jesus instructed them and prepared for the passover.20 when evening came, he was reclining at the table with the 12 disciples.. only jesus and his 12 disciples were present at the passover .if jesus wanted observers, he would of had some sit down at his last meal and requested that they be present that day and future passovers.

why does the wts feel that observers ( non partakers ) need to attend the yearly memorial?
