well, i put up a valiant struggle, but katie finally dragged me onto the plane on our way to las vegas for our wedding.. .

we got to our hotel (the flamingo), and as we walked into our room we saw the message light flashing on the phone.

" it was room service, said they had something for us, would we be in the room for the next hour?

abused to babysit for your children???

i was thinking about this today, in light of my son's well being, being questioned.

stats show that people who have been sexually abused go on to later abuse someone else.

I really trusted very few people to watch my children. I am just paranoid I guess but it would depend on the person and if I trusted them I guess. If I left someone with my child I would have to know and trust them, my neighbor was abused and I know she would never harm my children so I guess just like life the answer is just a varying shade of gray.

i just found out my boyfriend has to go on a business trip to washington to talk with some of the "big wigs" at microsoft .

he will be taking over a project and so they have to share info and whatever else they do in those meetings.

i hate it when he goes out of town!!

I can relate thunderrider and I have been apart very few times and it is always miserable He can't sleep and I get grumpy LOL So I don't know if that will ever get better. But the upside is you sound like you two care a lot and that is great

while in illinois over the holidays we had our son craig (who normally lives with his dad).

i dropped him off at the kh as my wife and i went to mass.

after mass we went to pick up craig, and as the wastetower study was not over yet we sat in for the last 15 minutes (gag!).

SUV'S Owners Support Terrorists!

yep, new campaign ad's on tv basically links the owning of an suv to the need for lots of gas, to that money going to countries that supply that gas, to the terrorists who get funding from those same countries.. so, based on this - what kind of car do you drive?

do you think that we american's have a moral or ethical responsibility to self-reduce our need for oil, and reduce just in general all the "materialistic" things in life to which we feel entitled?.

i drive a geo prizm - 35 mpg - because of our environment (and plus i'm just a cheap ass!

Most ridiculous statements from the JW stage?

we have all sat at jw meetings and heard some ridiculous statements that were either shocking or just plain old bunk.

usually it is the same jw individuals that make those statements time and time again.

you know the type..... you can almost expect such comments from them.. jws place great importance on what statements or persons are 'stage worthy'.
