SP: I can remember thinking when I was little about my Dad not crying. To me I saw a lot of his anger come out when he was so hurt and seemed to think he couldn't cry....BELIEVE ME tears would have been much more appreciated.

this is one of the most dreaded situations i as a man can ever find myself in.
my older brother, the retired police chief, would get angry if a woman started to cry when he was writing her a ticket, he felt it was an act.

Took me years to let Thunder know that tears were an emotion he could show. My son will cry if he is hurt and angry...or if he is happy I don't look at him as a sissy or a manipulator, I look at him as a Man raised correctly without the programming of having to "act" this way or "act" that way.
TO ME that is wrong when a man feels strongly but only has certain tools in his emotional toolbox to use. How sad is that and to think people are still letting men think that they could be dumped for just being human.
Why would anyone be in a relationship with a person that would manipulate you in the first place? I guess I have never seen anyone but my middle sister cry to "manipulate" but to me her crying was not as bad as her other types of manilpulation.

Unhappy: I know that I was petrified about Thunder (my hubby who is out also now) staying in. I had NO hope that if he were to cling to the religion that there was any hope for us. It just so happened our leaving took several steps but mostly with him undestanding why I hated the dubs so much.
I hope that your husband will see that he is losing you and that clinging to the dubs and their lies is not going to get him anything but pain. Do you have children?

SunnyGal: YES He rocks and Invisible Man is my FAVORITE of his songs...I feel like that so many times.
I am so lucky to have Thunder, I always have tried so hard to be strong for so long. He can sense when I need to cry and he will ask me to talk or share until I do...many times he says just the right thing more importantly he holds me, thru the lil tears that just slide down my cheeks to the times I have cried so hard I couldn't breathe...but somehow his arms around me makes me feel I am in a safe place to express that....There are times I have locked myself in my room so as not to make him sad for me. Lovingly he picks the lock climbs into bed and holds me......

Fear Of Jehovah's Witnesses Stopped Me From Working Today.
by Englishman inok, so there i am at work today, zooming up and down me ladder as i affix fascia boards, soffiting and guttering to the rear of a customers property.. pretty soon it started to rain.. now, good people, fascia-ing, soffit-ing and gutter-ing are not conducive with wet weather.
for several reasons.. 1. rain makes your power tools unsafe.. 2. the ground on which you work gets muddy.
this mud then gets transposed from your shoes onto the rungs of the ladder.
