I was talking to a close jw friend of mine recently, both her & her husband are now inactive. I think her words say it all: 'the "truth" is not what it used to be, too many changes have made it too confusing & I don't know what they believe, or what I'm supposed to believe anymore". @fulltimestudent... Interesting comparison & soooo true... I started to see they were weak men, full of their own shit & self importance about a year before due to things I experienced coz of them... Findings sites like this confirmed my suspicions & gave me my sanity back... But they were right about one thing, the truth (about the truth) really does set u free.

@joe134cd - Joe Slayman's wife's name is Jean - we had the 'privledge' (cough, cough) of having lunch with them at Bethel. My friend I was travelling with at the time knew them really well. They seemed very down to earth, decent people...

i was so excited i posted about it on facebook, to many likes from my fellow jw friends.. fast forward to this year, learning ttatt and fading (last meeting was the memorial and special talk).. i've received my fourth email, in the past two months, asking for rbc help.. stifling urge to hit reply all, with a jwfacts and candace conti case web link.... isn't it amazing how much your life and worldview can change in 1 year?.
