  @ VillageGirl-- Who Christ brothers are not. They are not counterfeit Christians, they are not atheist, they are not pagans and heathens. These ones are the ungodly and sinners. "If a righteous man is being saved with difficulty, what showing will an ungodly man and a sinner make?" 1 Pet 4:18

  Christ mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it. (Luk 8:21) When they are hungry we feed them, when they are naked we clothe them, when they lose their kingdom halls from natural disasters we rebuild it for them, when they are in prison for refusing military service we comfort them. You are misinterpreting the scripture in Matthew chapter 25.

  This will be my last post on this site. Bad association spoils useful habits.

  @villagegirl---Your kind of people will never be satisfied with anything done by Jehovah's Witnesses. If we reject blood, we are wicked. If we allow minor fractions we are wicked.

  As for building hospitals and helping the hungry, that is the responsibility of the government not religious organizations. That is why we pay taxes! If the government wants religious organizations to run the country then hand it over to counterfeit Christians. Wait, counterfeit Christians are already running most things.

  True Christians have the responsibility of ministering to the holy ones (Christ brothers/those who hear the Word of God and do it), providing them with material assistance and food when necessary and Jehovah's Witnesses have done that and even assist those who are not of our faith. Example, Haiti where JWs set up a clinic to help their brothers and sisters after the earthquake. Many nonJWs also showed up for help and no one was turned away. We help people by offering them life giving water, the Good News of God's kingdom of which Jesus is king.

  @NonJWspouse---No it is not hypocrisy. When someone fornicates or commits adultery and give birth to a child, they have given life, but does that mean God approve of the way in which the life was given? Of couse not! Christians are admonish to abstain from blood, the blood of every sort of flesh. JWs who accept blood fractions are not taking in blood, a fraction is not blood. If a protein was used and the blood destroyed JWs do not see a problem with that, but Christendom donates and cause people to use major blood components. Jehovah's Witnesses do not want to see their members die when there are advances in medicine that is available to them.

  If accepting blood fractions causes some to stumble, JWs are admonish to not take any fractions. But again it is up to each individual to decide for themselves and their loved ones whether they want to accept a fraction which the religions does not consider as blood.

  JWs who accept blood fractions woud not want to donate their own blood as they cannot tell whether major components of their blood would be used, in which case they would become bloodguilty.
