  i recently bought a great product from mcafee....a spam-killer and pop-up killer....it works great....it has sound and it is killing them right and left... .

  if you are on-line like i am it really helps?

  the internet is going to be a lot more fun now....???

  in the truth, happiness is equated with a stable family life, a hope for the future and working for the cause.. i still believe the same, just may be the cause isnt the same any more.

  Did a stranger baptize you?

  shouldn't it have been the person who gave you your bible study, that should have baptized you?

  in matthew 28:19,20 it says "go therefore and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit.. the way i see it, it should have been the one who gave you the biblical knowledge, that should have baptized you.

  making disciples is phase one, and baptizing them is phase two.

  I actually do know who baptized me. His daughter is now DF'd for living with a guy (who is in the military no less) before they were married. funny though... he never did get removed though his daughter was still living with him when she was reproved 3 times before that.

  do you think that if a brother didn't become a ministerial servant in a reasonable amount of time, that he was considered weak?

  I already did everything an MS would be doing short of giving the talks during the service meeting. I was never appointed though. Looking back on it I see it as a blessing. I thik it would have been harder for me to fade (or in my case just not show up anymore oneday) if I had been.

  A DAMM FINE IDEA

  i was just re-reading coc by ray franz, and had an idea.

  as a jw i was allways concerned when the number of annointed went up in the yearly report, so this year why dont we all find halls that dont know us (if we are shy) and partake.. thousands of "new annointed" would put the shits up the society!, and the brothers!

  please tell me what you think as im quite excited anout this idea.. .

  i have read alot of the advice offered on this board and was hoping to broaden my thoughts on my problem any opinons will be appreciated.

  i have been married for 3 years.

  i don't have any children by this man but have 3 from a previous marriage.

  I was the child when my mother was in a similar situation as yourself. It is of utmost importance that you let your kids know that you do not approve of the way that he is treating them.

  I dont know if this is something that you can do but when my mom realized what he was doing she told him that he was to have no part in my discipline. She told him that she is my mother and she is the only one who has the right to discipline me in any manner. She left it in no uncertain terms that she would be VERY upset if he were to try to discipline me again.

  After this took place my relationship with my step dad improved dramaticaly.

  I am at the point where I expect nothing from people. By expecting someone to treat you in the proper manner, by expecting your friends to treat you like friends and your family to treat you like family... it leaves you open to be hurt. I have had enough of being hurt by those I have come to expect them to treat me in a manner that I deserve.
