  I can empathize with the pain that you feel... I too went through hell and back when leaving the borg and it has left me emotionaly and mentaly exhausted. May you find peace in your journey through the rest of your life.

  when we were in the org, we had to watch our language, and speak correctly and never swear.

  people knew we were jw's just by the way we dressed, but also by the way we talked.

  Hell, I was swearing since I was still in the troof! All my friends did, we just didnt do it around other people that we didnt know so we wouldnt get into trouble. But swearing is common place for me now. I try not to do it TOO often but it does come out.

  And you should have heard e-mail when I was in Orlando. Man that guy can cussup a storm! LMAO

  Vanilla - You have to remember that there is a huge range of beliefs that frequent this board. If you find it offensive, feel free to do so. You can even say so. But once you say your piece, dont come back to the same thread to argue with everyone. Just dont come back so you do not have to be further insulted.

  the society likes to call all those who follow their teachings "sheep" or "sheep like ones".

  I was thinking about this the other day. The society likes to call all those who follow their teachings "sheep" or "sheep like ones". How offensive is that?!?! Sheep follow without a second thought. To them, their sheppard is their whole world and will blindly follow him no matter where he goes or what he does. If he makes changes, no matter how drastic, they dont care and will continue to follow. Sheep are expected to follow no matter what.

  Apparently this is what the WTBTS thinks of its members. Sheep who will do as they say, regardless of whether it is best for them or not. They can change anything that they want and will expect their members to just go along with it and not question a thing.

  Who plays a musical instrument?

  everybody likes music, but i don't know many people who play an instrument.

  years ago, every house had a piano, and just about everybody in the house played the piano, but not today.

  we all know that farkel is an excellent pianist, and i do enjoy listening to his music.. does any of you play a musical instrument?

  While I think it would be funny to do so I honestly do not think it will accomplish a single thing.

  At worst it will piss off the elders and they will come down on people who are trying to fade or have faded.
