  My chat with 2 Dubs yesterday about UN membership

  i live close to a resonanbly busy street, 20 odd shops banks, a train station,a couple of cafes and coffee shops etc and usually see dubs doing street work close to the station and i'm now on nodding terms with an elder who is out most days of the week and have got close to recognizing most of the hard core of about a dozen of them , i was walking out of the cafe yesterday to be greeted by a couple of newbies i'd never seen before , a scruffy short dumpy man and a fairly well presented middle aged lady, i'll try and abridge the conversation as best as i can, we must have chatted for about 15 minutes and it was all in a good mannered style;.

  me " have you sold many of those this morning ?".

  jw guy " oh no we dont sell them we give them away for free" (like i didn't know that).

  volumes about the nature of the beast.

  "You will see that the JW Org must agree to support the UN."

  As soon as the criteria for NGO status changed to the above, quite some years AFTER they had NGO status, they disassociated themselves

  as you know full well Kallam, as you'd see if you bothered to read the link that I'd posted. :)

  Kallam, one last point old son, registration as a non governmental organisation for library access is hardly the same as

  transferance of allegiance to the United Nations is it? :)

  My....." nonsensical dissembling" LOL Hmmm, I seem to have touched a couple of raw nerves with you old son. :)

  As for bored JW apologist.........no mate, I've never been baptised, I was brought up as a JW until aged 18, quite some time ago

  and am now reevaluating the situation. Must say, the more I hear on this particular site, the more inclined I am to feel that they do

  Kallam, the so called stated ideals of teh UN charter are what? Peace and security for teh Earth and mankind right?

  So how is the desire for mankind to live in peace and security at odds with the JW's beliefs???

  They only disagree in the sense that they argue that only GOD can bring true peace and security to the Earth
