blondie, interestingly, in the article you brought up, when talking about skydiving and other sports, they say it's a "sport" (in quotes). As if it were a "pseudo-sport".

Skydiving/Parachuting. A disfellowship offense?
by stealthmode-brazil ini'm an active witness from brazil (who would leave if it weren't for my family/friends inside) and always dreamed about practicing skydiving.
but as radical sports are a no-no for witnesses... i wonder if any elder or ex-elder on this forum knows if an active jw, practices skydiving/parachuting once and/or regularly, can he or she be disfellowship on that basis?
i'm considering secretly jumping but afraid if someone finds out.

blondie, so it's not a df offense. If I got caught, I would only not be used for "privileges" in the KH. That's what I understand from your article posted. So it's like a Witness joining the police.

Statistically, parachuting is much less dangerous than driving a car in a big city like São Paulo or Rio. (Brazil has high traffic death rates) So I don't understand the illogical WT reasoning.

What are your favorite hypocritical sayings of the WT??
by iamwhoiam in"religion is a snare and a racket".
...ironically, today the wt is a bonafied religion..

It's Ok for you to sincerely examin your religion/beliefs. (Only for those who aren't JW's)

Hi. I'm an active Witness from Brazil (Who would leave if it weren't for my family/friends inside) and always dreamed about practicing skydiving. Thanks.
