ATTN Former Bethelites

Go to College ...Now!
by metatron inin doing my income taxes, i noticed that the fed.
government is getting more generous with tax credits for education.. even without itemizing deductions, you can still reduce your tax liability significantly by going to college.. the hope credit can give you $1500 bucks and some state income taxes may also contribute to this worthy cause.. i know it's expensive - and the tax credits only pay a little - but with the internet in place, going to college has never been.
easier or more convenient.

I was just thinking of doing something like that......but the University here doesn't offer courses that I'm interested in.
I was trying to find info on financial aid and how it applies to distance learning. If you can share that with me I would appreciate.

Well, i don't know cause i only have a few years business experience, but if they follow the rule, like they should, "you were given for free, then give for free" they are pretty bad managers cause the internet would do a much better job 75% of the time, with little printing to do.
The money from donations wouldn't have to support such a big machine and the money saved would pay for further development.
But hey, who am i to disagree with the lord.

Stinky?
by Francois inobviously i'm back from my general initiation and orientation into grandpappyhood.
although things are kinda hazy due to all the excitement, i do remember charges and speculations of some very dubious nature attributed to me prior to my taking off for the other side of the state (georgia).
most of these charges were made by semi-, or ill-informed people who were mere bystanders to the central misunderstanding which - i'm afraid - was between you and i.. i certainly don't like having the pall of the haze of misunderstanding continuing to be associated with me after being on this board for so long and that in general a very positive presence, and i'd like to respond to whatever dangling strings there are, and i feel sure there are some.

Sure...
Because P&S should come from God, when people will ask for governments to provide this for them, like they are starting to do right now, it will be the sign that they have no belief that god will ever provide it for them.
By asking Govs. to do it, while they know the impossibility of them to provide it, they are actually asking for the mark of the beast. That is why sudden destruction comes upon them because of their request to the wrong person to provide P&S.

It's for the people to call it...and they will ask for the imperfect governments to provide it...thats where they will go wrong and that's where the mark of the beast will come into effect....

Now that's a good one.
We have two large oceans on each side of us, to the north we have Canada and to the south, Mexico.
Now tell me, how difficult is it to protect this continent from an invasion. The intruder has to come over or on the seas to attack us. We'll see them coming days ahead of time.
But no, we have to stick our noses in everybody's business cause we are avid users of this planet's resources. We need the toys produced by cheaper raw products and the cheaper labor. In other words we need to exploit others to keep the toys coming.
But to say we are there because we are protecting ourselves is in my opinion...propaganda
