  please remove me from this site, i am tired of the sarcasm and the insults simply because i choose to believe in god after leaving the borg.

  i am beginning to believe that the borg was a better place than this site because i never once endured what i have had to endure here with certain individuals.

  it seems that it is ok for some to criticize others here but when you stand up for what you believe in the shit just gets deeper.

  this post isn't about "how much longer until the new system of things" arrives.

  i'm wondering how much longer people will buy this load of crap?

  the society has been telling the r&f that armageddon is right around the corner for 124 years now, and they're still using this method.

  Shotgun, I simply think you guys are trashing them a lot n areas where they don't shouldn't have to. I've never had a ny bad JW expererience. And since most you offer negative views of them, I try once in a while not to. (I do recognize some faults)

  If i were to be in my early teens and my parents would tell me what you just said to your children, I would certainly not be happy. Maybe cuz i had a personal bible study and didnt depend on my parents to teach me and instruct me. (My parents were smart to encourage me this way).

  What you guys never say is that the majority of people who leave are children of JW's in thier late teens and early 20s. It all depends how you say "Shifting/Switching", since the JW membership is count different than other religions (like church attendance and people being baptized and never put a step to a church again.)

  You are trying to change a pesons mind, KGB. But you can't do that wIth so many JW haters around here. Yes, its definetly discouraging to try to help them by listening to them. But then they laugh or whats more, they critize you for your well-meaning thoughts. This is not the place to 'give your heart' to. Best wishes.

  Mary, you mention that 1975 was in your opinion, "the beggining of the end of them". Most of those people who left where new people who never really had an interest in serving Jehovah for a long time in this system. And I personally don't think that the "Generation" issue hit JW pretty hard, that I remember.

  What does these murders have to do with Jehovah's WItnesses? The man was an ass. And if I were to do a search on people who are a member of a chruch and who has killed others, i can guarantee I will find hundreds and even thousands before of newspaper and magazine articles before I find a murder-sucicide committed by a JW or at least an inactive W.
