i've been married 14 long years to a real s.o.b.

I agree with Jes, if you are hard up, go get what you need to fix it (and the necessary batteries)

Do not go outside the moral guidelines you have, as a JW or non-JW.

Do not go on the new business without finishing you current business.

We do not live in a third world country. Divource is cheap, legal and fairly inexpensive. If your husband is an S.O.B. Get rid of him.

Set yourself free. (see 50 ways to leave your lover)

You will only make yourself more miserable by doing the affair thing. You will make yourself the S.O.B. And you are better than that.

Have the self confidence to do the right thing. Say to yourself, "I deserve better!!!!"

New Light on the United Nations (U.N.) (Scarlet Beast)

there appears to be "new light" in the latest watchtower magazine (june 1st 2003 issue).

several watchtower publications for the last 50+ years have said that the united nations (u.n.) organization ("the scarlet-colored wild beast" of revelation) would definitely be the organization that will carry out jehovah's judgment on "babylon the great" (false religion), and then, under satan's [gog of magog's] direction, the united nations organization would become "greedy", and try to attack the remaining remnant of the "anointed" jehovah's witnesses and their companions, the "great crowd" of "other sheep", and then jehovah and jesus would destroy the united nations organization, along with everyone else who was not a jehovah's witness.

in reality, do you think that they are amongst the most stupid people on earth??

Back from the Memorial

well like i say, just got back from the memorial, have been going most years, but this year i went by chance (knew it was roughly at 7pm at the nearest kh) to my old congregation that i grew up in.

i didn't find the "evil" people spoke of here on this forum, or those too stupid to see.

all i did see was people i hadn't seen in years, and let me tell you, what lovely people they were.

At what age did you join the Witnesses?

at what age would a person have to be to join the witnesses and not suffer too much?.

if they are children, it robs their youth.. if they join in the teens, they won't get a decent education.. if they join at 20 years old, they will have to marry a witness.. if they join at 30, i guess that would be less destructive because they already are married, have children, have a house, an education and a job.. at what age did you join, and how did it affect you?
