seems a little over simplified, but if it works for you, then great! i couldnt do it. i faded, but even that gets tiresome.

These days it not really that hard being a witness.
by I believe in overlapping inif you are a true believer, then you are toast.
because you will be a slave to everything the watchtower, circuit overseers, elders, pioneers, imply.
believe me, there are not many true believers anymore, and the majority of them are old.

Yet another example why you can't reason with a JW
by nowwhat? inso i mentioned to my pimi brother that the org.
only grew by 1.4 % 2 years in row and if you factor in the birthrate of 1.1 % that's only 3/10 of 1% growth for all that hard work.
i thought people would be streaming to the mountain of jehovah in the last days?

Do elders still ask inactive members to write a letter to disassociating yourself from the Congregation?
by RULES & REGULATIONS indo today's elders ever meet with inactive members and pressure them to write a letter disassociating themselves from the congregation stating that, ''you no longer wish to a jehovah witness"?.
i was baptized at the young age of 16. after turning 18, i stopped attending meetings, field service, and all jehovah's witness activities.
i wanted to be with my high school friends, go to rock concerts, have a girlfriend, and live like a normal teen.

i was very strongly told to write a simple statement saying i no longer wish to be a witness. it was during a judicial meeting when they asked if i was going to stop what i was doing. i said nope. one of the elders pushed a pen and piece of paper over to me. i wrote it out and was announced 2 weeks later. that was 27 years ago. l went back until about 8 years ago, but i faded this time. i wont disassociate myself, or admit to anything this time around

What would make an Ex-Jw go back to been a full in Baptized JW
by LOLS ini was just wondering , why would my jw husband return to been a full blown baptized jw after 20 years of fading?.
he has spent 20 years of his life been a worldly person , with a worldly wife & kids & worldly friends .... to joining the borg full time , to getting baptized , to getting new brothers & sisters .... and to writing off most of his worldly friends (some his known his whole life ) , to trying to convince me & our children how wonderful this org is ......and anyone else who will listen :(.
has anyone ever experienced this ...... oh and he seems to be in it 110% and no-one can say anything about this crazy org or show him proof that it all bs...... his such a clever independent , successful guy , why on earth would he go back to this , after been out for so many years & change into this domineering , opinionated fool ..... oh and his entire family also went back ... father , mother , brother & sister .

The JWs in the crowd gasped in Australian court..
by koolaid-man inshocking information near the bottom of this report from a watchtower lawyer definding the organization in australian courts.focus on the information under the heading: "the faithful and discreet slave".
quite the shocker... the society's lawyer statesthere is no true physical body of people, but only a theological arrangement.
the jws in the crowd gasped.

so for the people in the states. what if you live in a state that medical use is illegal, and get a prescription in a legal state and bring it back. how will they handle that? -

Since You Left The Organization Do You Celebrate National and Religious Holidays?
by minimus ini know of people who were disciplined because they observed the fourth of july fireworks celebration.
and i know many people who celebrated thanksgiving but just didn’t call it that because they could get into trouble with the elders.. do you now celebrate birthdays and other holidays or is that something you really don’t care about?
?.

i honestly don't care about most holidays, but there are some family that is the only time you get to be with them. I currently celebrate thanksgiving. I probably will celebrate some birthdays . I don't see ever doing halloween.
