The brethren in Australia have a company called UBT. my daughter works for a company that is owned by the brethren and she has told me that UBT is the filter between them and the ISP provider

After his death and subsequent ascension to heaven in 1985, Ahnsahnghong was succeeded by his spiritual wife Zahng-Gil-Jah; also known as Mother God, Heavenly Mother and New Jerusalem Mother. Members pray to her and are encouraged to visit Korea to pay her homage. Mother God is the core of their faith."The iPad shoved in my face at the door (first thing I saw) to entice me to a two minute presentation. It reminded me of what the witness's are trying to do now. From this personal experience of having the iPad shoved in my face i feel the JW's will not have much luck using it as a tool in their ministry. I immediately attempted to touch the screen to stop it.
Has any one else come across this kinda copy cat to the JW's cult?

What happened to the "Witness" part of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by donny ini just got back from my afternoon walk/run and about a block from home i saw two sets of jw's going door to door handing out invites to the memorial.. the first pair walked past me and only said "good afternoon" as they passed.. about two minutes later the second pair approached me and handed me an invite to 2014 memorial on april 14. i asked them why they chose the jw's as their church of choice and was told "we'd like to chat more but we have a set number of invites we have to get out before the memorial.
if you contact the kingdom hall listed here, they will tell you more... on how god's kingdom will rid the world of satan and the evil associated with him.".
i replied "you can't talk now?".

Regardless that this is a memorial invite the apathy prevalent in modern day witness's just consolidates my experience with the literature stands. Witness's knocked on my door I asked about the stands . the reply was "we are not like greenpeace or others we wait for people to approach us"

Reorganization Branches Belgium and The Netherlands
by Gorbatchov inthe belgium branche of jw in kraainem will be closed.. the netherlands branche of jw in emmen will be reorganized into an ict devolpment office.. all the oldtimers jw staff in emmen is told they have to leave, they are dismissed.. of course it will be explained that the organization is on the move, a blessing from jehovah.. gorby.

The Literature Stands
by sherrie11 injust got a visit from two jw's and i mentioned the literature stands they have now.. i mentioned i walk past their stand they set up in my town every thursday on my way to work.
last week the stand was smaller and i asked why was it smaller.
no answer..... i then said you guys usually go door to door dont you?

I picked up a few clues in regard to the 'sister'. She mentioned her dad was jailed in Belgium for anti war sentiments. What she was , was so ignorant about was the past teachings of pro-actively proselytising.
Unflippabley unbelievable!!
I hope i will be a return visit it certainly cured my nervousness when confronted by JW's.
Who pays for the stand's?
Maybe in the secret part of the JW.ORG site they supply the PDF file and say print them yourself.
The modern JW is so different from the 1999's version.

Just got a visit from two JW's and I mentioned the literature stands they have now.
I mentioned I walk past their stand they set up in my town every thursday on my way to work. Last week the stand was smaller and I asked why was it smaller. no answer..... I then said you guys usually go door to door dont you? Why the change?. He answered due to people having busier lives etc.
The 'sister' added 'well, in regard to our stalls we are not like greenpeace or others that approach you on the street. I said yeah I cross the road if i see them. The 'sister' replied ' yes we dont approach them we wait for them to approach us.
WTF !!!!
I thought the whole purpose of the witnessing work was for them to find every opportunity to approach people and preach the good news.

I got a visit!! I registered on jw.org for a visit after completing the 'do you want a JW to visit your home?'.
It took them three weeks. When they arrived on the Saturday morning around 10.00 am (as I designated) it was totally unexpected lol. So I yelled at my dog to shut up, she barks when ever anyone comes close to the house. I knew they heard me say this and answering the door or instead of hiding, I just continued with my day to day stuff. They only knocked a second time and then left. This was 2 weeks ago and feel I am not a return visit. I guess a literature stand is a lot easier . And the JW's assigned to my visit have responded to the requests for visits via their website. They can count the most important thing about their faith "time!!!"

2013 Publisher Statistics now available from 2014 Yearbook.

there are no real surprises, with very similar results as during the last couple of years.

This is part of what makes me so frustrated. Its like they live in the now! Yet they preach about stuff written thousands of years ago and say its so relevant to now! They don't know the past carpetbagging technics. I walk past a stall ignored by the believers behind it every thursday of the week!
