  True Love in relationships

  i think that true love is only found through jehovah.

  i have had relationships in the world and they have never worked out.

  but i will be searching for true love with a woman that also loves jehovah.

  I fell in love with a monkey once. I sat and looked and I had the thought "Gee, I love that monkey.". That thought had barely just entered my couscous mind when that monkey crapped in it's hand and threw it at me.

  i'm the early type, i do everything way before hand.. how about you, are you the early type or the late type of person who does everything at the last minute?.

  just like the christmas gift exchange on jwd, do some of you wait to the last minute to go buy a gift and send it?.

  false reasoning: the wts claims that there are only two birthdays mentioned in the bible, both of which resulted in someone being killed.

  thus, they conclude, that this is jehovah's way of telling us that we should not celebrate brithdays, including the birth of jesus christ.. fact: there are five birthdays mentioned in the bible.

  the most important and celebrated is the birth of jesus christ himself.

  How embarrassed were you to be a JW?

  i, for one, was often embarrassed to be a jw; i always felt guilty about that, because it was always drilled into us that we should never be ashamed of our "religious heritage".

  well, it's really hard to be the only one at your workplace who doesn't celebrate christmas, birthdays, etc.

  it just draws so much unwanted attention to you, like when people try to tiptoe around certain subjects in your presence.

  A tribute to Moose

  our basset hound moose died this morning.

  he was only 2 1/2 years old but he had addison's disease.

  something caused internal bleeding and he went very quickly, which was merciful.
