  i've been a jw all my life and am thoroughly convinced this is the truth.

  but there is one thing that i just don't understand.

  many jw's believe that people who get resurrected in the new system will not get married.

  PS In seriousness now, have you never heard of the "community guilt" theory that many Witnesses espouse? Meaning that entire communities can be killed off at Armegeddon because that the majority of the community rejected the witness given, even though certain members of that community never heard the "truth"? If the community/country leaders are the ones who did not allow witnesses to preach, therefore the people never heard the "good news" the entire community will still be killed off because, as a community, they collectively rejected the good news via their leaders? (Never mind that many persons are not able to choose who leads their government). I am attempting to find links as proof but alas, can find none. Trust me - the proof of what I say is out there should you care to look for it.

  You are being greedy as well as unreasonable, my friend. If loving Jehovah with your whole essence isn't enough for you and you feel you need sex as well, you are not serving Jehovah wholeheartedly. Sometimes it's one or the other, not both. When push comes to shove, wouldn't you really rather spend eternity praising Jehovah through playing musical instruments than having amazingly stellar sex with a beautiful, caring, loving partner? And if you play loudly enough, you can drown out the satisfied moans with your tuba. Allow me, please, to use an example the WTS has used in its publications. If you are invited to a dinner, you don't go pester the hostess with details about the menu. It would be considered rude as well as ungrateful. Trust that Jehovah has your best interest at heart, because I'm certain he does. Your independent thinking will get you into a LOT of trouble, dear. I suggest you attend more meetings and spend more time studying the society's publications. But as for me, determined I shall be, to screw eternally....

  What's with Ex-Jw's who join another religion? Fool me Twice????

  sorry no offense but why do some ex-witnesses here join another group....we have a muslim {muhamed was given a koran by an angel in a cave?

  }....we have some baptists etc......i researched the bible and found there are 1,000's of gospels not part of the bible...so what's the deal...."fool me once shame on you..fool me twice shame on me" or do you have a reason for continued belief in religion...i really wan't to know since iam agnostic and don't believe in god or evolution????

  boy do i feel ripped off!

  as a witness if i spend my life at meetings and field service my reward is............eternity with the witnesses gardening which i hate.....and singing kingdom songs.

  no t.v no booze no fun no nothing and to boot i don't get my 70 virgins like the muslims......i mean for 70 virgins i would be willing to go thru all the meetings and field service........but to spend eternity with your circuit oversear and a bunch of bethelite's i think the living would envy the dead.

  before i start, i know a lot of you will say for me to consult an attorney, but just wanted to see if any of you have had to deal with this..... i have primary custody of my son.

  my ex was ordered to pay child support the first of each month.

  well i hardly ever see a dime of it unless i call him and have to bitch him out to send the state a payment for child support.

  Funny thing about advice. We ask for it, then keep asking until we get the answer we already decided we wanted anyway. At least, that's what I always did.

  To the oringal poster: I wish you all the best, no matter what you decide and continue to be the good mother I am certain you are.

  In my state deadbeat parents go to jail, making a feeble effort is not enough. They also get a record for not paying child support.

  Gee, now THAT makes a LOT of sense. Put him in a place where he can earn NO money and that will fix things.

  Are we talking about a child's best interest in your state, or about revenge?
