  Time for a new Org for THE silent lambs?

  the actions of bill bowen over recent months have lead many to conclude that he is more interested in his organisation, silentlambs, rather than the issue of protecting and supporting the silent lambs.

  I have seen the politicians in this state put very similar measures on the ballet to divide the votes between each measure to get the desired result of neither measure getting the required votes to be enacted as a state law.

  Drawing a parallel to the above concerning your suggestion.

  IMHO to divide the resources, efforts and direction would probably be counter-productive in the long run. This is most likely what the opponents of the Silent Lambs would like to have happen as it would allow them to divide and conquer the forces of change.

  ever see that movie called force 10 from navarone?

  it's about a u.s. commando squad (escorted by some british agents...you know, they always need the u.s.'s help...heh heh) in ww2 given the task of destroying a bridge in europe as to prevent a nazi crossing.

  As an aside to the skipper dam buster; to get the bomb to skip across the water it was necessary to induce a spin on the bomb before release. This acted like a gyroscope and made the aircraft very difficult to control during the bombing run.

  as most of you know, i'm studying tarot cards.

  each week a new lesson arrives via e-mail.. a couple of weeks ago, lesson 3 showed me how to do a three-card spread.

  it's where a queston is asked, the 22 cards of the major arcana are shuffled, and the top three cards drawn.

  Well, I am back from my recent travels and came home to a very pleasant surprise. A box from another state was waiting for me to be picked up at the post office.

  The mystery contained in this inoffensive box begged to be opened and solved. The box had kept safe during its travels a gift from a person who obviously put much thought and effort into its selection. The back of this figure has the texture and whorls of tree bark and old wood. Upon turning the shape around the image of two eagles becomes visible surrounding the bust, (no searcher and farkle not THAT kind of bust), of a wizened and contemplative American Indian.
  
  Thank you, Vickie! Each time I look at this item on my desk I smile and think how perfectly it blends with its surroundings.

  Vickie I apologize for not being able to write this sooner. Your gift was sent out in a timely manner but I was out of town, (some would argue out to lunch would be more accurate).

  it didn't make sense to me.

  Scooter made me do this so here it is.

  I am male good sense of humor and the outdoors type.

  My wants tend to be simple unless it is electronics then I tend to go a bit overboard. As you have already guessed from my nickname and image I am into raptors (birds of prey) but not to the extreme.

  I tend to view the gift as an expression or insight into the person giving the gift. The gift tends to let me know about how they think or feel at the time the found the gift.

  Some ideas that might help.

  1. I am an avid reader, history, technothriller (eg Dale Brown, Tom Clancy) science fiction & fantasy.
  2. Natural Crystal of some sort (Quartz etc.) simple yet well formed.
  3. Obsidian sample as I am learning to knap my own knives and arrowheads.

  A question about 1914

  i am researching the jw religion...and i was talking to a man who was going to join.

  he told me something about satan and his angels not being cast out until 1914...because that's when the first war in heaven happened.

  i don't know how accurate he was, but please, if someone could help clear me on this?.
