Isn't it the other way around? Who started this thread? Who is trying to prove who wrong? We don't accept the preposterous mental gymnastics employed by the Watchtower Society. We think their explanations are absolutely silly as well as unscriptural. You are the one with the obsession. You want us to change our minds to accept what is totally unreasonable and truly ridiculous. Open your eyes, man. How blind can you be to what you're really all about and out to accomplish? Only a person with a magnificent OBSESSION could keep plugging away as you do though you are shown to be totally wrong time and time again.

What ARROGANCE!!! Mocking the Watchtower Society's foolishness is now equivalent to mocking Jesus! Only a self-centered and hypocritical cult would make itself equal to God's Son who died for us!

I'm surprised that none of you are pointing to the great famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and the fantastic persecution of JWs that all took place in full force in 1914 when the Devil became so angry. He and his army of demons really let it be known immediately in that year that they were not only upset but furious with being confined to this planet. Don't you remember? And things haven't changed since then! Why can't you see it? It's because you don't have the spiritual vision JWs have! You don't study your Bibles deeply enough like each and every JW does!

It disappoints me that you don't give the Devil more credit. Boy, was he mad! He was spitting nails and breathing fire out of his nostrils. Don't you remember? Why, nearly a third of the earth's population was wiped out in 1914! All of these things were thoroughly convincing that the Society picked the right date. Don't you see? They said the world was coming to an end in that year, and it almost did!

I know that some of you are scoffing. You say the earth's population is greater than ever despite all that's happened. You say people are living longer now than they have for centuries. You say diseases that have long plagued mankind for centuries are being cured. In your blindness, you go on and on.

It saddens me that you can't see through all of this and acknowledge that the WT Society was right on the mark. Jesus has returned and you see no evidence that things have changed far, far for the worst. How sad!!!
