  i was listening to zep's dazed and confused today and the rocking middle section of that song never ceases to amaze me - john bonham was from a different planet, was completely insane, or both.

  nothing i've ever heard in any other song quite compares to that.. honorable mentions:.

  old habits die hard i guess .

  but with the uk's april retail sales figures in, showing the biggest drop since records began in the mid 1990s, i think we are about to hit another recession.

  just so those in the usa know what i'm talking about, here in the uk personal debt here recently broke the 1 trillion mark and property prices have maxed out and are just starting to show signs of dropping, with most young people unable to afford to get on the ladder.

  for years i made it known that when i die, on my stone, .. or plate, or whatever, .. it should say.

  "what the hell was i thinking" well now as time goes by i think i would rather it say.

  while giving his usual spiel about how true christians should struggle, he says that some of those who have left the truth, say they never felt better.. .

  you wont discuss your own politics with out a browbeating from old hill.... but eman starts a thread about the us second amendment to it's consitution and all sorts of brits chime in.. for the record... i really dont care about your big-eared prince and his "gnawer"* new bride.... why do ya'all care about my guns?.

  *gnawer.. a woman so ugly that if one woke up in bed (after a drunken night) with her they would gnaw their arm off to escape...rather than chance waking her in the daylight.

  Pastor Kicks Out 9 Members For Not Supporting President Bush!

  in north carolina, a pastor told the congregation of about 100 that if they voted for john kerry, they would not be welcomed in his church.

  things this week came to a head when he took action to kick out 9 who didn't support the president.

  others, in protest for the action also have left the church.

  if i remember correctly, many christians have been tortured and killed through the centuries.

  their enemies killed them.

  none of them that i know of ever had power over rattlesnakes or scorpions to the extent these critters never bit them.........so.......did jesus lie that they would be immune to deadly critters, and that they wouldn't ever be harmed,.....or did god allow a spurious scripture in his spirit directed holy word that could have caused the death of many if they trusted this scripture?.
