to stop myself from slipping into a coma, i used to go outside for most of the second half of the meetings and chat with the car park attendents. sometimes i would go and sit in my car and listen to some music aswell.

What did you do to keep yourself amused at the KH?
by be wise inwhen i was very young about 12 or 13 my brother [he's mad, not much older] sometimes used to do a cheeky magic trick during the watchtower[god, this was the most boring of them all, i think].
he used to put his hands by his side and miraculously the books on his lap would rise all by themselves [yeah, you guessed it ...morning glory], well it made me laugh my head off.
i bet people could see my shoulders bouncing up and down from the back row.

glad you brought this up Ravyn. well the weather is affected by the suns activity. many tropical storms have taken place over the past 2-3 weeks that have been out of season, and there's no explanation for it. notice the cyclone in madagascar, just off the east coast of africa.
this was the weather radar pic for the US on the 8th May. notice how many snow storms there are and where they are. typical of May weather?
this is a feed taken from the SOHO satellite. the solar wind speed is usually about 400 kms-1. for the past 2 weeks it been between 600 and 800 kms-1. the magnetic field has regulary been hitting zero. also there's huge amounts of x-ray radiation hitting the earth just recently.
solar weather can be checked out at http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/

didn't someone here have a thing about 11:11 on a clock?
by Ravyn inor some other time similar like 1:11,2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, 11:11, 12:12?
seems to me i read something about someone thinking it odd that they kept looking at the clock and seeing a particular time like that...the thread i think had to do with dreams or paranormal/strange occurences and it was in the last month or so..... well anyway, at the time i read it i wanted to comment, but i did not have my ideas straight.
then just recently i ran into this on another board and remembered it, so i wanted to post a link to the other board about it.

WoMD ... so where are they?
by Simon innow, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!
perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.
now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

I predict that the next carping thread will be the US "Occupation of Iraq."
what a jolly good idea! maybe we could have one about 'saving' the 'heroine' private jessica lynch also.

some of the funniest phrases come from the british army, usually are deliberate uderstatements, a soldier in iraq desribed a situation of an iraqi thowing a live grenade(that didnt go off) into a group of soldiers as, "could have ruined someone's day".
