  Why do dubs spend so much effort exaggerating the health risks rather than sticking to the core of their blood transfusion prohibition which an extremely rigid and inconsistent interpretation of Old Testament scripture. If a dub in preparation for surgery, avoided these critical health risks by banking his own blood, and had a transfusion he would still be disfellowshipped.

  The Finished Mystery ... where to get?

  does anyone know where a copy (book form, or electronic scanned / pdf format also ok) of "the finished mystery" can be obtained, without paying a small fortune?

  i'm trying to help a friend about the real "truth" behind the wt, and apparently this book is "the pot of gold"?

  I have a copy with pages 247-254 removed. These pages (according to what I've read elseware) contained material urging people not to participate in the military and the society gave in to government pressure and removed it. I guess Its ok for the WT to compromise is it suits their purpose. Let me know if you would like a section scanned though I doubt that I will be able to scan all 600+ pages. :-)

  yawn, bore, blah.................come on guys, jw's are getting pretty dusty here, where's the zest on this board ?

  tell your relatives, friends, etc: hey, you were part of the u.n., the watchtower bible & tract society owned a majority of stock in a jw company that had military contracts, the organization that you represent was false prophesying that the world was going to end in the 1800s through the 1900s, and when you can prove to me otherwise, than maybe i'll talk to you.

  these guys are just going along with the program because they've gone along this far and they don't know what else to do with their lives because all of their acquaintances are part of this organization and their lives are almost up.............................to turn completely against this organization would be declaring defeat of their very lives.

  do you ever have feelings you wish you didn't have?

  people always say you shouldn't bottle up your emotions, that it's not healthy.. but if you think it's wrong to feel a certain way...(ex.

  jealous, anxious), isn't it better to swallow it into your stomach so no one gets hurt?
