it has been roughly two years since the last post on this.
any ideas as to the percentage of children/young adults leaving?
from the KH I grew up as a child(not a teenager) I was the last to go. Guess I was a late(late late) bloomer. They all had lives and families and went to college and got good jobs...
I am hoping the Borg will just run out of prophecies and die off. It really can't continue another ten years like it is now, not logically. They will either have to change something drastic or just fade away. I think they will opt to go more mainstream like the Mormons.

I find the Biblical prohibition against homosexuality to be a Jewish thing. Other than Genesis, for its mythos(Jewish), and the book of John(Gnostic), I find no value in any other part of what has come to be called 'The Bible' that can't be found in other books of other religions and ethnicities. Paul was Jewish, and he had a prejudice against homosexuals and women, probably because he was Jewish. He was also celibate and a widower. If you out it in context and stop trying to make square pegs fit into round holes....then The Bible actually does have some valuable things to say(and a whole lot of hogwash).

just think what humans could have accomplished without the superstitious and religious nonsense? Maybe those things you mentioned happened despite religion, christianity specifically, not because of it. I personally think all religion is childish, but necessary. Humans can't seem to evolve without it.

see? I knew there would be someone! I feel like I am trying to remember all my classmates to give out Valentines to.....(for some odd reason my mother did used to do that with my sister and I up until about 5 th grade...I do not know how the heck she justified that....but it did happen.)

I didnt mean anti JW as in anti people...I meant anti Borg. Scoob was not talking about liking specific people--he was talking about liking JW doctrine. I only used "JW" in the same way he did.
If this board isn't anti-Borg then I think alot of people are fooling themselves....

If I am not mistaken I believe just recently Simon made a comment(I want to say it was on a Northern Girl thread...but not sure) that verified this is indeed an ANTI JW board. The reason it is not called an anti-JW board is so that doubters and those who are still JWs will not be scared away before they give it a chance.
It could be called whatever you want to call it---this is not a discussion board promoting JWism in any way shape or form.

there are lots of people on this board I would love to go out with. All my kitty boys, minimus, ona, logansrun, lots of the women(ALL the women)...I hate to name names coz I don't want to forget anyone and hurt their feelings! Frank, DrWatson, JH, Monkey...so many....actually I can't think of but a couple I would not like to go out with.......so maybe if I ever win Power Ball I will throw a big party and pay for everyone to come!
