  Q. about an old Kingdom Song (needs an old timer to answer)

  back when i was a boy, we were using the old green songbook entitled "songs to jehovah's praise".

  one of the songs contained the lyrics: "happy is the man who stays awake and keeps his outer garments".

  i don't know what the song was called.. i'm pretty sure that the melody to this song was another rip-off from an already existing tune, in this case the maine stein song.

  Being interviewed by police tomorrow

  well tomorrow is a big day for me.

  i'm finally going to be interviewed by the police about what happened to me as a kid.. im running the whole gamut of emotions at the moment.

  sad, anxious, angry, guilt, fear and many more that cannot be quantified.. i feel physically sick, cannot sleep, have lost my appetite and i am desperately trying not to self harm.. i've got my sister to thank for getting this far.

  Well tomorrow is a big day for me. I'm finally going to be interviewed by the police about what happened to me as a kid.

  Im running the whole gamut of emotions at the moment. Sad, anxious, angry, guilt, fear and many more that cannot be quantified.

  I feel physically sick, cannot sleep, have lost my appetite and I am desperately trying not to self harm.

  I've got my sister to thank for getting this far. She's got a strength and determination that I don't have, she's gunning for these c$$ts. I hope I can find the same strength my sister has.

  Did you like hymns as a jw?

  i was just explaining to mrs picard........ never a jw, and not english, how we used to celebrate the harvest festival, when i was 7 and younger, before my parents converted to jw'ism.. i loved to sing "we plough the fields and scatter".

  of course, singing such hymns is, to a jw, paramount to apostasy,with the death penalty like punishment the ensued.. how really stupid their harsh rules.. did you have any favourite hymns?.

  i think we would all agree, that they beat the pants off the "kingdom melodies".

  Reflecting on my Disfellowshipping

  today is the day.. i was baptized as one of jehovah's witnesses on march 25th 1989.disfellowshipped for admitted apostasy today, september 10th 2015.. what an amazing story we all share.

  how did we get involved with this group and think this was the best way of life?.

  i asked my wife to stay home from the meeting tonight and spend the evening with me.she is.... we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this past monday.. i must admit, i never saw any of this coming, but it couldn't have come sooner.i'm free of all the fake friendships.
